They didn't used to be but they seem to be making the rounds to more nurseries! I just keep mine out in my room. It doesn't get any special treatment, although not for lack of deserving it, and it grows beautifully!
You can definitely pollinate ur own Philodendron, the window of time to pollinate though is only one evening I think, when the inflo is in thermogenesis - you'll also probably need to get up at around 3 am to see that happening, so good luck lol the seeds pf philodendron are also much much smaller than anthurium and you'd need to get rid of all the fruit and sanitize the seeds, otherwise they'll eventually rot... there are some great videos on the subject, but needless to say the difficulty is the reason we have much more anthurium hybrids than philodendron 😅
Nice plants. My "plant room" is already full of monsteras and ficus and other stuff so it's nice to see all these plants I just don't want to give space to 🙂🙂🙂 except silver pothos. There is always space for silver pothos😅😅😅 Silver pothos everywhere 😅😅😅 Did I mention silver pothos? 🍃🍃🍃 🫠🫠🫠

@@planttherapii I live in Washington State, and I've been notified by USDA all of United States will soon not allow importing without an import permit as of Dec. 1st 2022 starting with the states with major cities. I've applied for a permit and did not qualify.

I've gotten the starter plants (cheaper and winter shipping scares me) of the Ring of fire, Carmel Marble, Silver Sword, Tortum, Joepii, and my White Knight tri color pup whose leaves are still smaller than my pinki finger nail but pushing out her third leave after two months. I'm keeping my White Knight on my aquarium covered with a small clear cup (really hoping for it to get bigger!). and the others in a 8 x 10' bathroom with a humidifier, grow light, and a small electric heater and the door closed. I keep going in there to check. Always afraid if over loving them! And, I spent time in Renton for meetings at the FAA office before I retired. You may know or ask your boyfriend, I'm trying some Tappin Roots all stages fertilizer my daughter had... is that ok? 5ml/gallon every 3rd time now in winter. sorry for the long message
Love your plants. Plants With Melissa just repotted her gloriosum in a rectangle pot from Amazon. It comes in packs of three. She has the link in her video that came out today. And I think I saw Jeff at Everything Plants repot into a cool rectangle pot recently and it was a bigger size. My micans is hanging in my north facing kitchen window and loves it. Grows like a weed. Can’t wait till my Summer Glory gets big like yours.

Summer Glory = Pastazanum Philo mixed with a Philo. Gloriosum. I have 2 of them. They are just gorgeous.
