Joined ur channel 1 month ago mainly couse ur vids chilled me out, cannot explain itm but they really do chill me out, maybe its the music, maybe the editing, the time you take to explain things or even the positivity you irradiate, to be honest, i think its a lil bit of all those things combined. Hey Andrew, started watching your vlog about 3 weeks ago, not because I'm a poker player or because I aspire to be one but I enjoy the game and when the opportunity knocks I like to jump in a game and played for years online and have been turned off of it now. I own a online marketing company, mostly drop shipping products as well as affiliate marketing. I wanted to compliment you on your latest vlog entry and specifically your time you spent speaking about variance. I can't even tell you how much I needed to see this video. Always have enjoyed your feed, but this one especially. I've been on the worst downswing I've ever experienced for the last month or so after playing nearly every day, both live and online, for a solid decade. I'm getting drawn out on like crazy, not hitting any draws myself, and get it in good to always wind up getting beaten. It's made me seriously question my poker future. This was the pat on the back I needed lol

Andrew Neeme How do you deal with it? Do you take time off? Do you tighten up? Act like it's not happening and stick to your game? I've tried tightening up and that just hasn't helped at all, in fact has even made things more frustrating. I should probably just take a week off or so and recoop.

Talking about the editing that's already happening is actually pretty entertaining. Congrats on the 3.5k win! I used to live in Chula Vista and went to the poker houses all the time. I don't think that casino was built yet, but they did have a good poker room called Village Club that I frequented... good free food. Their two big tables back then were 8/16 limit and 5/10 limit kill pot... they only had a 1/2 no limit regularly...

I love coming back to these old skool vlogs once in awhile. I remember when you first uploaded this one. It was a banger. It also really showcased how good you were/are at vloggin and how you pathed the way for vloggers like Mariano who really copied your style.
I genuinely enjoy the older videos myself, too. Somewhere along the way I fell into the trap of trying to please the algorithm rather than trying to tell a story and express my artistic self.
