I'm really enjoying my fold 4. As my daily driver, there are no complaints so far. Battery lasts all day. I love the multi-tasking. This is something I use heavily. I'm not a picture or video person, that's why I traded in my note 20 Ultra 5G - no regrets! I hardly take any pictures or videos lol. I use TH-cam, FB, IG full throttle *Flossy Carter voice* . Reading books on this is amazing. Everything is amazing when you have a bigger display. I also use the front display a lot. It isn't too big, it isn't too small. I appreciate i could use the phone one handed! - Something people don't talk about. I could never use my Note 20 Ultra one handed. It was also awkward. Although I miss the S-Pen, it isn't a deal breaker. It was WORTH the trade in.
I use mine exactly the same as i did my fold 3, and while it's not a massive difference. I can say I leave for work at the same time everyday, early afternoon. The fold 3 would be at 65-70% everyday at that point. My 4 is sitting around 80% at that same point in the day. Stand-by however is majorly improved and likely the reason for holding this extra 10%+ battery.
Love this phone. I had the Z Fold3 and I didn't fall in love with it... or I did and I started to fall out of love with it. The 4, which I didn't think was all that much of an upgrade, actually works better in my opinion than the 3. The small difference of the front screen being marginally wider, made such a huge difference in my typing experience.
I love everything about the fold 4 EXCEPT.... not having S Pen housing on the device and not being able to jot a quick not on the front screen. I don't mind the thickness, the cameras (under-display as well), I don't even mind the crease or the wierd mdia consumption aspect ratio. For my note-taking needs, I love this device. I would love to be able to use a slim case AND carry my S Pen worry-free. Being able to jot notes on the go is my top priority. Thanks for your content CJ!
I don't have the phone yet, but have been looking at cases as well. I think the Spigen Thin Fit P may be your solution. It is rock free when flat on the table open and the pen is held on the side. Maybe make the phone a bit wide when open, but I am thinking I will go that route rather than the Samsung.
Brutally honest , I would just stay with my note 20 ultra. Battery life on my fold 4 is worse than note 20. Cameras are worse as well. I bought a rigged case for it and durability is better than note. TH-cam videos are not taken advantage on full screen with either of fold's screens
I have loved the first few weeks of having the fold 4. I am a legacy Note user, and I was leery of making the switch to using a foldable. This fold is the spiritual successor of the Note, it's the do-it-all mobile productivity powerhouse evolved into a new form factor. I had to carry both phone and tablet into meetings, because screen real estate on a slab for pen note taking was problematic. I've been able to carry this one device and comfortably use it for note taking in meetings. That's a real life use case that a slab phone will never solve. Aside from that, I've found the screen a distinct pleasure. Even with the black bars, the image on the internal display is larger than the image on a large slab phone. I've given up on fretting over black bars.. I don't stretch movie content on my TV to eliminate them, so I don't worry about that. The UDC isn't for photos, it just isn't. Continuing to talk about its photo quality is literally the same as complaining about why a car doesn't work well as a boat... in both cases that's not the intended use case. The UDC is for video calls, the image quality that is sent over a video call isn't good... this camera takes images that work for that quality. I do want the best overall camera setup, this is an ultra premium device so it should have every excess available. Having said that though, this is the most unique and well thought out user experience I have had with any phone. It's truly amazing, it's just not perfect.
My beloved Note brother let me tell you something. I’ve changed my S22Ultra for the Fold 4. First time since 10 years i fell in love with a phone. This phone is phenomenal, all the little changes they made make this phone incredible and a real life companion. It is just beautiful.
For direct sunlight xou have a extra brightness option, and if you put adaptative mode it gets even brighter. No problem at all under sunlight with either of those two options
I have had a samsung phone for the past 12 years and I was hesitant about the samsung z fold 4. You are correct in alot of the cons you mentioned but it is definitely a more refined product and more useful for every day use than the previous versions. I am happy with it and will enjoy this phone just have to be careful with the inner display and not get too much dust in it.

Right now i have a Oppo find x3 neo, unfortunately there are too many bugs, so i need to change it, I don't know whether to take iPhone(13/14/pro/base) or this fold 4,what do you recommend? ( I use the phone for work/mail/notes..)
Hey CJ. The workaround to get the taskbar when using your launcher (I use a Nova) is One Hand Operation+, part of the Good Lock suite. This means 3 things: 1. Your default launcher has to be One UI; 2. Your launcher will be just another app; and 3. Set up One Hand Operation + to swipe to your launcher instead of pressing home button. Side Note - if you already use swipe gestures to navigate it might impact the above steps. The rest is down to muscle memory. Also helps to set up the apps used most in the One UI launcher so they are easily accessed in the taskbar within your launcher. Keep up the good work, player! 👊🏾
I have the Fold 3. I like it, but really with it was wider. I normally upgrade yearly, but skipped the F4 but it was not enough this year. I'm still trying to decide if I'll go with the S23U when it comes out, or wait and hope F5 is wider. I didn't think I'd miss having great cameras either, but I really do.
Upgraded from S22 ultra to fold 4. Only REAL complaint I have is the fact that some apps aren't optimized to use the full screen when unfolded. I changed ig to be full screen, but when I view stories, it gets completely cropped off. Also, it is pricey. Other than that, I love this phone so far. The front screen is big/small enough to truly use with one hand. The battery is great. Pics are good enough quality. Crease could be better but at night, the inside screen is beautiful.
Folding phones like this aren't built for human hands. Like literally, there's a reason all phones are within a half inch or so in every dimension. You can't one hand it (front screen doesn't count), typing sucks with one hand or two) and the s-pen doesn't have a silo in. I admit I had the fold 3 and I got the 4 with a couple trades, but I'm still using my Note 20 Ultra

The Z fold is crazy! I don't understand why someone would get a crazy expensive compromised device and say it's amazing. The front screen small and difficult to navigate, and the fold is big and bulky with a notable crease. You can get a better phone and uncompromising tablet for less money than the Z fold. 🤔
My battery life has been great. 10-12 hours screen on time when using mostly the small outer display at half brightness and around half that, 5-6 hours of screen on time when using the big inner screen at full brightness.
Hi, I have a question for you, I know it isn't about the Fold 4 (which I already own and love) but it is about the epidemic sound subscription. If I try free for 30 days and pay the $108 dollars for a year, when my subscription runs out next year, does that mean I will get copyright strikes on my videos? So will I have to keep subscribing or will my existing videos that had music will stay covered? Please help me CJ, thank you in advance.
I traded my z fold 3 for the 22 ultra. I loved the form factor but the camera and lack of spen support on the front display is what made me switch. Sadly they haven't fixed the fold 4 for me to switch back. Hopefully the fold 5 will have the camera and s pen support I'm looking for.
Love the concept but I'm only a month in and the center of the display is all stretched and pixilated. It also has these long lines of stressed screen Pixels going down the center. Only noticed with white backgrounds. I expected better build quality for the price and amount of time In the game.
@@CJKnowsTECH it's sad for sure. And that battery life.. I'm plugging it 3 times a day. Granted, I'm day trading on this device and run manage tons or CRMS throughout the day but damn... samsung needs to step it up here.
I have used the device everyday since launch. I love the device but there are times it feels a tad too big. I use it closed 65% of the time and 35% is open. Oh and Android auto is horrible in my car.
Coming from a Note 10 plus, I've had my fold 4 for a week. I LOVE IT. Can't leave it alone. BUT.... Samsung need to come with the following on the Fold 5. Larger Wider outside screen. S pen built IN. Bigger battery capacity. Better inside camera. I reckon these improvements will help to create a near perfect device. Cheers.
Honest opinion... I personally love my Fold 4... I loved my 3, gave that to my mom's and she's extremely happy. Size of phone doesn't bother me one bit because an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a case wasn't much smaller if at all. Overall...I just enjoy it.
I have had mine for the last 2 weeks and coming from using a Samsung S21 ultra. I absolutely love it and not sure if I can go back to non fold phone. Love the big display for watching media, reading multi-tasking. Not bothered by the camera and to be honest the quality is perfect for me. From a full charge battery I and using it to do daily stuff I find it's at around 20-30 percent at the end of the day which is fine with me.
That is a really interesting thought about cultural differences in how we want to see skin tone,I never thought about it like that and it could be something that they don’t even recognize that they’re doing it might be subconscious.
Great Review! I'm still loving my Fold 4 coming from the Note 20 Ultra 5G. The camera stuff doesn't really bother me as I don't use it anyway. I use my iPhone for pictures. The Fold 4 really is just a great piece of tech in my pocket really to see everything that I do on the daily bigger and that's it. And I like that wallpaper. Where did you get it?
I absolutely love my fold four the battery is better for me than my S21 Ultra it lasts all day I am a truck driver and listen to music and TH-cam all day! My user experience again I absolutely love it works great looks great feels great sounds great! Durability I have to say top notch again I'm a truck driver was getting out of my truck just the other day and it slipped out of my hand getting out of my rig fell to the ground everything was fine I have the Samsung case with the S Pen on it and all it did was put a little ding in the case the phone the screen everything is fine I love my fold four
4:10 You NEED the under display camera for the continuity of having face unlock on the inside and outside. It doesn't have to be great quality and sure, you could use it for a conference call in a pinch... But that's why it's there. Not for fuzzy selfies, for face unlock.
What about heavy gaming like call of duty. I play that every day on my galaxy s21 ultra and i would like to know how durable is the screen by playing everyday
I've owned every Samsung Flagship since the OG Note and have used them until the next S Series / Note / Fold series. The Fold 1 was groundbreaking but still couldn't use it for more than a month due to outer screen size. Was jazzed about the Fold 2 due to the enhancements but still only used it for about a month and a half. Then comes along the Fold 3.... Used it for less than a month before going back to the S Series due to again front screen limitations. At last came the Fold 4 and have not and do not plan to go back to my S22 Ultra. Yes the front screen is still smaller than my liking but usable.
Im a die hard iphone user, but ive been watching fold 4 videos for about a week now. I definitely want to switch over but im worried to do it since IOS is all ive know. Im a big media consumer, youtube, netflix, hulu, etc. but i also multi task as best i can on the iphone. Should i go forward with the switch? Will i regret moving from apple? Will the hardships be worth it?
I wear tracksuit bottoms a lot the phone feels far to heavy init I'm holding it more in my hand then in my pocket!!!! I don't use the inner screen when I'm out its mainly the front screen,
First time fold owner...absolutely zero complaints. No complaints with the size thickness because it's literally folds in half with one of the best hinges on the market. The UDC I don't complain about like most people because it's "optional" to use lol ...it's purpose for video calls ones ...but anyone uses this for selfies is just being silly.
I'm coming from a note 20 ultra...this is a good phone..the display and videos on it play great ...but the camera is definitely not as good as the note 20 ultra..when you blow up or zoom in on pictures..they definitely look bad ...note 20 to me camera wise is better...I had more privacy to me on note ...
My z fold 3 overheated the top of the main display blew up Samsung is giving me my money back for the phone and I was thinking about getting the z fold 4 but I really need to know is it worth it
I'm currently using that Samsung silicone strap case on my fold 4... The strap is very practical and convenient when you need to keep a secure AND comfortable hold of this pricey device. I'm loving the look of the official leather case from Samsung which I'll be getting ASAP. I'm looking for a good case with a kickstand though because trying to prop up the phone with stuff is getting annoying. What's your preference when it comes to cases?
Love my fold 4 definitely see the difference in battery life and a standby . I'm sticking with foldables my fold is my Xbox with gamepass and Windows PC with the shadow app and I have my folding keyboard, folding stands ,and mini power bank that plug in the bottom of the phone . But my only gripe with Samsung is skin tones for us Brothas which is why I prefer the pixel for photos so I'm currently waiting for a working gcam app for the fold 4 and waiting for the pixel fold next spring .
While I love my fold 4, before I can wholeheartedly recommend it to someone else, they have to: 1. Close the gap in the folded screen. 2. Get the S pen in the phone without a case. 3. Get s pen functionality on outer screen 4. Drop the price by 300 dollars
My user experience is over all a good one. This is my first foldable ever so I'm still adjusting to the weight of the device. The battery lasts me all day but by the end of a full day the battery can be on it's last leg but outside of that and aspect ratio issues I'm a happy camper.
You can still use the taskbar with a launcher u just have to turn it back on once u set which launcher as the main one they pushed the update out to the fold 3s to have the taskbar so it should be the same on the 4
I just think things like this will come down to the person buying the phone. Your issues won’t be the same as someone else’s. Regardless if it’s the Fold or Flip the buyer will love it no matter what. I know for me..the Fold would be too much as far as thickness..The Flip is more my style. Price if the deal for trade in is good..hell or high water I’m going to get it and enjoy it will eating ramen for a few months 😂
Just ordered this Thursday. My plan is to use my iphone14 pro max as my everyday driver and my fold 4 for my mobile desk setup for everything else that I need for multi-tasking. I had every Note up until the 8 then the boss (wife) made me switch to the iPhone (just for the blue messages lol) so I'm excited to see what I've been missing in the Samsung experience. great video! i am one week in with the Fold 4. so far, so good. i got it as a work phone, so i am appreciative of the power and screen size. hoping i will be able to leave my laptop home for a few hours. i have 4 DSLRs, so i am definitely in the minority as far as not caring about the cameras lol i also appreciate you for reviewing this on its own merit vs the same ol Apple vs Samsung videos. to me, they are different operating systems, so everyone's use will vary. you got a new sub! hope you review the iPhone 14. this month is gonna be LONG! hopefully the Fold will scratch the itch til then.
It's been a fun experience. Fun device for media and gaming content. TH-cam loads slower everytime I open it. Needs more optimization on fitting the screen orientation for the square dimensions. And optimization of loading speeds on apps, especially on games like genshin to improve performance etc.
I do like the z fold 4 very much but I can't help but feel like this is a lot missing and my last phone was the Note 20 ultra which still has a better camera. I love the fold but sometimes I feel short changed for the price I paid.
I have the fold 4 right now and I'm having mix emotions too!. Im 8 days old with and I have a chance right now to return the phone back and get a iPhone 14 max pro or something. The iPhone looks good because of its simplicity and Cameras but I might regret that too. I'm having moments and feelings that I should keep life simple by not overthinking technology part of it things. As long a phone takes great photos, send messages, social media, runs apps smoothly. BUT when i think business side and using certain apps. Multitasking and certain features I do appreciate on the fold 4. Like the pen, Apps, etc (Lightroom app is fire on Fold 4 by the way) that brings me back to the Fold . Also, If I want better pictures I bring out my Sony mirrorless cameras then edit on my phone. Lastly. Fold 4 is expensive phone and double checking if its worth fighting the cons on the Fold and I should save some money. This video help me think better about. Thanks CJ
100% Zfold4 is the best phone you can get if you can afford it you will never want to go back to a normal phone. It has been the best experience with this phone especially the multi tasking is not even fair with other phones. I work from home and I use this phone for meetings and it's so cluth when I can have 2 apps open at the same time and have them fully functional, 1000% recommend it.
Got the phone 1 week before release date and the battery was very good, got around 6hrs+ of sot but now after the first update can only get around 3-4hrs of sot.
I bought the Z fold 3 when it first came out, however, due to the super slim outer display, I switched to the galaxy S22 Ultra. Once they make the outer display bigger, I'll switch back to the fold.
This thing is a beast, after you activate all features in the settings you see a big difference in the phone. The phone do things that most TH-cam video or not showing .
My z fold 4 has pretty good battery life for something that has 2 displays. I don't run it with the battery saver on unless it's needed, and will have about 3-5 hours of screen time on some days so my battery will last me all day even on heavy use days.
Coming from the 2 to a 4, worlds of value. I only upgrade for 2 years though so I can get maximum value out of the phone. It would take a lot for me to upgrade every year.
It's got multiple utility, you can take good photos and remotely without a watch, its a tablet in your pocket, its powerful, I cannot fault it, it even stands itself up and folds into like a laptop, you cannot ignore all of that and more, its changed the mobile phone market!

Turned on all the power saving option, blocked alot of unimportant apps. Still lose 9-10% after 6hr stand by. Is that normal?

Hey CJ. The workaround to get the taskbar when using your launcher (I use a Nova) is One Hand Operation+, part of the Good Lock suite. This means 3 things: 1. Your default launcher has to be One UI; 2. Your launcher will be just another app; and 3. Set up One Hand Operation + to swipe to your launcher instead of pressing home button. Side Note - if you already use swipe gestures to navigate it might impact the above steps.
The rest is down to muscle memory.
Also helps to set up the apps used most in the One UI launcher so they are easily accessed in the taskbar within your launcher.

I have the Fold 3. I like it, but really with it was wider. I normally upgrade yearly, but skipped the F4 but it was not enough this year. I'm still trying to decide if I'll go with the S23U when it comes out, or wait and hope F5 is wider. I didn't think I'd miss having great cameras either, but I really do.
Upgraded from S22 ultra to fold 4. Only REAL complaint I have is the fact that some apps aren't optimized to use the full screen when unfolded. I changed ig to be full screen, but when I view stories, it gets completely cropped off. Also, it is pricey. Other than that, I love this phone so far. The front screen is big/small enough to truly use with one hand. The battery is great. Pics are good enough quality. Crease could be better but at night, the inside screen is beautiful.

Folding phones like this aren't built for human hands. Like literally, there's a reason all phones are within a half inch or so in every dimension. You can't one hand it (front screen doesn't count), typing sucks with one hand or two) and the s-pen doesn't have a silo in. I admit I had the fold 3 and I got the 4 with a couple trades, but I'm still using my Note 20 Ultra

The Z fold is crazy! I don't understand why someone would get a crazy expensive compromised device and say it's amazing. The front screen small and difficult to navigate, and the fold is big and bulky with a notable crease. You can get a better phone and uncompromising tablet for less money than the Z fold. 🤔

My battery life has been great. 10-12 hours screen on time when using mostly the small outer display at half brightness and around half that, 5-6 hours of screen on time when using the big inner screen at full brightness.
Hi, I have a question for you, I know it isn't about the Fold 4 (which I already own and love) but it is about the epidemic sound subscription. If I try free for 30 days and pay the $108 dollars for a year, when my subscription runs out next year, does that mean I will get copyright strikes on my videos? So will I have to keep subscribing or will my existing videos that had music will stay covered? Please help me CJ, thank you in advance.
I traded my z fold 3 for the 22 ultra. I loved the form factor but the camera and lack of spen support on the front display is what made me switch. Sadly they haven't fixed the fold 4 for me to switch back. Hopefully the fold 5 will have the camera and s pen support I'm looking for.
Love the concept but I'm only a month in and the center of the display is all stretched and pixilated. It also has these long lines of stressed screen Pixels going down the center. Only noticed with white backgrounds. I expected better build quality for the price and amount of time In the game.

@@CJKnowsTECH it's sad for sure. And that battery life.. I'm plugging it 3 times a day. Granted, I'm day trading on this device and run manage tons or CRMS throughout the day but damn... samsung needs to step it up here.
I have used the device everyday since launch. I love the device but there are times it feels a tad too big. I use it closed 65% of the time and 35% is open. Oh and Android auto is horrible in my car.

BUT....
Samsung need to come with the following on the Fold 5.
Larger Wider outside screen.
S pen built IN.
Bigger battery capacity.
Better inside camera.
I reckon these improvements will help to create a near perfect device.

Honest opinion... I personally love my Fold 4... I loved my 3, gave that to my mom's and she's extremely happy. Size of phone doesn't bother me one bit because an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a case wasn't much smaller if at all. Overall...I just enjoy it.
I have had mine for the last 2 weeks and coming from using a Samsung S21 ultra. I absolutely love it and not sure if I can go back to non fold phone. Love the big display for watching media, reading multi-tasking. Not bothered by the camera and to be honest the quality is perfect for me. From a full charge battery I and using it to do daily stuff I find it's at around 20-30 percent at the end of the day which is fine with me.
That is a really interesting thought about cultural differences in how we want to see skin tone,I never thought about it like that and it could be something that they don’t even recognize that they’re doing it might be subconscious.
Great Review! I'm still loving my Fold 4 coming from the Note 20 Ultra 5G. The camera stuff doesn't really bother me as I don't use it anyway. I use my iPhone for pictures. The Fold 4 really is just a great piece of tech in my pocket really to see everything that I do on the daily bigger and that's it. And I like that wallpaper. Where did you get it?

I absolutely love my fold four the battery is better for me than my S21 Ultra it lasts all day I am a truck driver and listen to music and TH-cam all day! My user experience again I absolutely love it works great looks great feels great sounds great! Durability I have to say top notch again I'm a truck driver was getting out of my truck just the other day and it slipped out of my hand getting out of my rig fell to the ground everything was fine I have the Samsung case with the S Pen on it and all it did was put a little ding in the case the phone the screen everything is fine I love my fold four
4:10 You NEED the under display camera for the continuity of having face unlock on the inside and outside. It doesn't have to be great quality and sure, you could use it for a conference call in a pinch... But that's why it's there. Not for fuzzy selfies, for face unlock.
Under display should STAY!! you dont want a punch hole in that beautiful screen! And it works good enough for meetings.
What about heavy gaming like call of duty. I play that every day on my galaxy s21 ultra and i would like to know how durable is the screen by playing everyday
I've owned every Samsung Flagship since the OG Note and have used them until the next S Series / Note / Fold series. The Fold 1 was groundbreaking but still couldn't use it for more than a month due to outer screen size. Was jazzed about the Fold 2 due to the enhancements but still only used it for about a month and a half. Then comes along the Fold 3.... Used it for less than a month before going back to the S Series due to again front screen limitations. At last came the Fold 4 and have not and do not plan to go back to my S22 Ultra. Yes the front screen is still smaller than my liking but usable.
How much value did they give you for your s20 ultra??
Im a die hard iphone user, but ive been watching fold 4 videos for about a week now. I definitely want to switch over but im worried to do it since IOS is all ive know. Im a big media consumer, youtube, netflix, hulu, etc. but i also multi task as best i can on the iphone.
Should i go forward with the switch? Will i regret moving from apple? Will the hardships be worth it?
I wear tracksuit bottoms a lot the phone feels far to heavy init I'm holding it more in my hand then in my pocket!!!! I don't use the inner screen when I'm out its mainly the front screen,

First time fold owner...absolutely zero complaints. No complaints with the size thickness because it's literally folds in half with one of the best hinges on the market. The UDC I don't complain about like most people because it's "optional" to use lol ...it's purpose for video calls ones ...but anyone uses this for selfies is just being silly.
In my day to day clothes the thickness wouldn't be a problem. In my work clothes no chance of carrying it

I'm coming from a note 20 ultra...this is a good phone..the display and videos on it play great ...but the camera is definitely not as good as the note 20 ultra..when you blow up or zoom in on pictures..they definitely look bad ...note 20 to me camera wise is better...I had more privacy to me on note ...

I'm currently using that Samsung silicone strap case on my fold 4...
The strap is very practical and convenient when you need to keep a secure AND comfortable hold of this pricey device.
I'm loving the look of the official leather case from Samsung which I'll be getting ASAP.
I'm looking for a good case with a kickstand though because trying to prop up the phone with stuff is getting annoying.

Love my fold 4 definitely see the difference in battery life and a standby .
I'm sticking with foldables my fold is my Xbox with gamepass and Windows PC with the shadow app and I have my folding keyboard, folding stands ,and mini power bank that plug in the bottom of the phone .
But my only gripe with Samsung is skin tones for us Brothas which is why I prefer the pixel for photos so I'm currently waiting for a working gcam app for the fold 4 and waiting for the pixel fold next spring .

While I love my fold 4, before I can wholeheartedly recommend it to someone else, they have to:
1. Close the gap in the folded screen.
2. Get the S pen in the phone without a case.
3. Get s pen functionality on outer screen
4. Drop the price by 300 dollars
My user experience is over all a good one. This is my first foldable ever so I'm still adjusting to the weight of the device. The battery lasts me all day but by the end of a full day the battery can be on it's last leg but outside of that and aspect ratio issues I'm a happy camper.
You can still use the taskbar with a launcher u just have to turn it back on once u set which launcher as the main one they pushed the update out to the fold 3s to have the taskbar so it should be the same on the 4
I dont wear tight pants I feel the fold takes up less space and not about to fall out my pocket ever time I sit down like the 22ultra.
I just think things like this will come down to the person buying the phone. Your issues won’t be the same as someone else’s. Regardless if it’s the Fold or Flip the buyer will love it no matter what. I know for me..the Fold would be too much as far as thickness..The Flip is more my style. Price if the deal for trade in is good..hell or high water I’m going to get it and enjoy it will eating ramen for a few months 😂

Just ordered this Thursday. My plan is to use my iphone14 pro max as my everyday driver and my fold 4 for my mobile desk setup for everything else that I need for multi-tasking. I had every Note up until the 8 then the boss (wife) made me switch to the iPhone (just for the blue messages lol) so I'm excited to see what I've been missing in the Samsung experience. Can't wait to comment on what I think about it. Hey who knows may start a channel lol thanks for the review you convinced me on more than one occasion keep it up.
I have to have my S21 and Z Fold 4 and just maintain 2 lines. The phones are totally different experiences
great video! i am one week in with the Fold 4. so far, so good. i got it as a work phone, so i am appreciative of the power and screen size. hoping i will be able to leave my laptop home for a few hours. i have 4 DSLRs, so i am definitely in the minority as far as not caring about the cameras lol
i also appreciate you for reviewing this on its own merit vs the same ol Apple vs Samsung videos. to me, they are different operating systems, so everyone's use will vary.

It's been a fun experience. Fun device for media and gaming content. TH-cam loads slower everytime I open it. Needs more optimization on fitting the screen orientation for the square dimensions. And optimization of loading speeds on apps, especially on games like genshin to improve performance etc.
I switched from apple to the zfold 4....NEVER GOING BACK!

Had iPhone for the passed 4 years. Finally switched back to Samsung and loving the Fold 4.
I do like the z fold 4 very much but I can't help but feel like this is a lot missing and my last phone was the Note 20 ultra which still has a better camera. I love the fold but sometimes I feel short changed for the price I paid.

I have the fold 4 right now and I'm having mix emotions too!. Im 8 days old with and I have a chance right now to return the phone back and get a iPhone 14 max pro or something. The iPhone looks good because of its simplicity and Cameras but I might regret that too. I'm having moments and feelings that I should keep life simple by not overthinking technology part of it things. As long a phone takes great photos, send messages, social media, runs apps smoothly. BUT when i think business side and using certain apps. Multitasking and certain features I do appreciate on the fold 4. Like the pen, Apps, etc (Lightroom app is fire on Fold 4 by the way) that brings me back to the Fold . Also, If I want better pictures I bring out my Sony mirrorless cameras then edit on my phone. Lastly. Fold 4 is expensive phone and double checking if its worth fighting the cons on the Fold and I should save some money. This video help me think better about. Thanks CJ

100% Zfold4 is the best phone you can get if you can afford it you will never want to go back to a normal phone. It has been the best experience with this phone especially the multi tasking is not even fair with other phones. I work from home and I use this phone for meetings and it's so cluth when I can have 2 apps open at the same time and have them fully functional, 1000% recommend it.

Got the phone 1 week before release date and the battery was very good, got around 6hrs+ of sot but now after the first update can only get around 3-4hrs of sot.
I just got a new 512GB beige for £1300. I don't mind as much paying a typical flagship price but I definitely wouldn't pay 1600/1700

I bought the Z fold 3 when it first came out, however, due to the super slim outer display, I switched to the galaxy S22 Ultra. Once they make the outer display bigger, I'll switch back to the fold.

This thing is a beast, after you activate all features in the settings you see a big difference in the phone. The phone do things that most TH-cam video or not showing .
My z fold 4 has pretty good battery life for something that has 2 displays. I don't run it with the battery saver on unless it's needed, and will have about 3-5 hours of screen time on some days so my battery will last me all day even on heavy use days.

It's got multiple utility, you can take good photos and remotely without a watch, its a tablet in your pocket, its powerful, I cannot fault it, it even stands itself up and folds into like a laptop, you cannot ignore all of that and more, its changed the mobile phone market!

The underdisplay camera is NOT a selfie camera. It is good enough for conference calls considering laptops and tablets get a 720p camera.
Fold fits great in my pocket! Slab was more intrusive.. it depends on how tight the pants are 🤣
