I think he was originally, according to the show, a nice person. However, everyone has a little evil in them (a malicious side that they may not give reign to). As the narrator said, Morgan's evil/malicious side was "itching to get out". I believe he was just pushed a little too far.
Also another difference in the book is the here the fortune teller is pulling a fast one on him acting joking around, in the book the fortune teller believes the girl is truly evil.
The whole thing I never got about this episode was this: if they thought Morgan had all these dark powers... why would they be as hostile as possible to him? Even if they all ganged up on him at once they clearly still wouldn't be able to beat him. Did they have a death wish or something?
They were never hostile to him. They were just afraid and cautious because Kristin had been manipulating them into believing Morgan was dangerous. Not once did anyone try to attack or harm him in any way, so I dont know why said if they ganged up on him they wouldnt be able to beat him.
they gave it a twist and then twisted it back around. this is so my favorite episode. they also had Beth Broderick (Aunt Zelda from Sabrina the Teenage Witch) as the fortune teller. absolutely loved it :)
They got two witches in this show who are witches. Zelda Spellman (Sabrina the teenage witch) The forturneteller,(Beth Boderick) and Billie Jenkins (Charmed) Kristen (Kaley Cuoco)
At the end of this episode the blonde girl with the pink shirt, the scene where she lost only one part of her hair she looked like Alice at the end of Resident Evil 1 where she woke up in that bright room with a part of her hair buzzed where the IV thing was.
"Everyone has a little evil inside." I have to hand it to them. That's not as far from the truth as many people want to believe. Romans 3:23: "All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory." Disagree? Give me a call when you meet someone who is perfect.
This is how the ending from the book went Jackie:hey Maggie sorry about that whole trying to kill you but we just thougth your were really evil Maggie:its okay im just so happy that my friends who turn there backs on me at The frist sign of danger love me again Jackie:also before you loose your reality altering powers can you do us a favor? Maggie:what kind of favor? Jackie:can you change our algebra grades? Maggie:gusse what?all four of us made the on a roll
Uhh IMDB and Wikipedia say Penn Badgley is in this. I didn't see him or even hear the name Mike, which is the character he is supposed to have played. Did I miss something?
Okay, for folks not getting it, there are 2 explanations for this episode: 1) The Nasty girl was evil and framed the boy Morgan for it all along until he turned it around on her...but by then it was too late and he'd been corrupted by all the bad things happening to him and he gained evil powers of his own OR 2) He really was evil all along, she and the fortune teller "blew his cover" and he framed the girl for it and no one realized he really was evil all along.
I have a theory he was the first person who put the whole School on curse, that explain why other kids having terrible things happening in every different episode?
is the mean blonde girl the one from confessions of a teenage whatever tf with lindsay lohan? megan fox's best friend in the movie? anyone? lol help haha

I saw this over 10 years ago and I still comeback to it the nightmare room was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was a kid 💜
Also another difference in the book is the here the fortune teller is pulling a fast one on him acting joking around, in the book the fortune teller believes the girl is truly evil.
I want him saying “you’re the one who’s evil” as my ringtone.

oh shit that twist at the end hahah! yes rl stine ftw again!
LOVE this episode and the ending was amazing!! Xxxx
From what I remember, the girl was the protagonist framed by the boy. The tv episode is the opposite.

The evil within, lol
Love this ending!
Woah, the perfume makes her evil, woah!
Looks like Aunt Zelda from Sabrina the Teenage Witch went from a good witch to an evil fortune teller.
I liked the ending
5:08, we hate you right back, now get out!
"look at all that hair" lmao
Best ending EVER!!!!!!!!

Disagree? Give me a call when you meet someone who is perfect.
I agree they narration is amazing, but according to Wikipedia it's not the real R.L. Stine. It was done by uncle Phil from Belair
+mezipe64 He does the voice over work, but R.L. is the one who wrote the story.
Ikr
Except that’s not really R.L. Stine narrating. Lmao 🤣
That’s James Avery that played Uncle Phil from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air!
This is how the ending from the book went

OMG! my last name is Gray too! but what's REALLY weird, is that my parents were actually thinking of naming me morgan. but they didnt. oh well. :)
Penny AND Zelda, that's great!
Uhh IMDB and Wikipedia say Penn Badgley is in this. I didn't see him or even hear the name Mike, which is the character he is supposed to have played. Did I miss something?

That girl at 6:28 has a great horror scream
What happened to episodes 8 and 10?
Cafeteria blows up, and school continues...wtf ?
i only watched this for beth broderick haha xx
Karma, ain't it a bitch?
Was the girl who lost her hair at the end the same evil girl through the episode?
I don't believe so.
No it's a different chick
so the guy had that evil look thing a long time ago . ?
@munchocrisps I think he said (after playing it over and over) "Not too much." But he said it ridiculously fast.
I'm guessing Kristin caused bad luck, and blame it on Morgan.
What's happening to that girl?!
Was this the original ending or did it get cut off? I could have sworn that it was a different ending.
this show has 13 episodes and was on in 2001 and 2002
Totally different than the book....
or "nothing much"
Wasn't the main character a girl in the book? Or am I thinking about some other Stine's book?
the date this episode gives on wikipedia is my brothers birthday
lol this was funny as hell
At the end, what did he say? All I heard was nothing itch or something. o-O
"Not to much "
So she only bully a guy and not a girl, just wow 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦♀️
1 John 4:2
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
Ahh okay, thank you. (:
The part 2 is about to be my favorite. Morgan is my character.
that's wat i was gonna say :)
I don't understand this episode. :S
Okay so was he evil all along but he finnally let it out or did he become evil because he was older
What did Morgan do that girl?
4:53 WHO THE HELL IS "BRIT"?
So was it her perfume that was giving him powers? I mean how does he have powers now when he was normal before. (Also Aunt Zelda for the win)
No, I'm pretty sure that she didn't have powers at all. Morgan just found a way to frame her I think.
SuperJayboy89 Yeah, im gonna need some major convincing to think it wasn't some dark magijks in that perfume
Lol
is the mean blonde girl the one from confessions of a teenage whatever tf with lindsay lohan? megan fox's best friend in the movie? anyone? lol help haha
As in the book.
