when i was a member of the civil air patrol, we learned how to search for aircraft that fell out of the sky. we were not attached to the army. we were also trained to fly small airplanes, after graduation from high school we could be entered into the air force academy. after getting a pilots license we could be trained on jets. the civil air patrol was so much different in the 50's than it is today. enlistment back than started at 14 years old.
LAWG is definitely the easiest from what I’ve seen. You sleep in Air Force dorms and this year there was only like 4 flights + ATF. It’s definitely stressful the first days being yelled at and stuff but it’s worth it in the end.
@@patmahomesisthegoat1622 yeah to this day I still believe NCWG is the toughest from what I've seen. There might be some that I haven't seen but it still appears to be the hardest to get through
When I went to encampment our barracks were in a different configuration so they woke us up with blasting music and yelling. Great times :)
Very proud of all of you future Airmen; or whatever branch you enter!!
I Can’t believe the cadets got deployed into Afghanistan at the end!
