I have to say warfighter has an amazing story line. Ive never seen a game that would put the war side of things and then show whats happening to the family and stuff that any other fps game would not show. It really sets the emotion and shows a very realistic game by showing whats happening all around. Ive give two thumbs up to warfighter for being one of the best story lines ever made.
I know for some people its hard to emotionally connect to a game, but this game, this one game made me cry. To imagine that this was based on real events makes me think "Wow am i lucky" There characters are so real, and they make such a bond with you, you just dont want to see them go.

god will offer us american soldiers strength but will not give it to us, because its already in us, in you. make a difference. for those who died for you, for us, for everyone.
people can say what they want about these games. most of the haters probably never carried a rifle for this country. I felt more of a connection to mother, voodoo, rabbit and preacher than I ever did to anyone in call of duty. maybe it's the simple fact that you play the whole first game minus some as someone who dies, waiting for help. maybe I still feel a connection to the men and women who still wear the uniform even though note mine is hung up.
Yep, I agree with you. Problem is they tried to do a whole new kind of story, something a bit like 24, instead of sticking to telling a real story, as in Tier 1 (I'll refer to MoH 2010 as Tier 1, it will be easier). In Warfighter, they only were inspired by different operations around the world just to tell a story, whereas in Tier 1 you get to play a real story, where everything did happen (the only real different thing is that Tier 1 operators didn't take part in the Bagram airfield assault in real life) and they chose to honour the soldiers by telling this story, just by changing names. I feel like Tier 1 wasn't just more realistic, it was actually more authentic, you really felt a lot of things for these guys you played as and you fought along with (the first level where you play as a Ranger and you fall in a trap set by talibans and have to defend yourself while they destroy the ruin that is your only cover... That was intense). In Warfighter, I didn't really connect this way with the characters... Except at the very end, after you've been captured and Mother's been executed. At this moment I really felt something, and then I cried like a proud grown man in the cutscene where he's being buried. But yeah, all that just to say I agree with you and that I'm really sad that we probably won't get any Medal of Honor ever again.
Judd Hack Judd Hack I want to become a soldier. I can't describe why. It's not about the connection, but the brotherhood, the courage, and the honor that you have on your shoulders. It's different than others... The fact that you are willing to die for SOMETHING, or SOMEONE. This is life. Straight life...
"A great war hero, whom's best friend in the battlefield, despite how much praise he is receiving from both the nations across the globe, from the government, and the people of America, mourns the death of his long time friend - his 'Brother' lost. Yea the campaign was amazing. Never had a game actually made me feel any emotion. In this game they have a great soundtrack and a fantastic plot that focuses not only on war but its effect on the soldier's families. I haven't played a campaign this good. There's ones like call of duty with blockbuster cinematic scenes to capture your attention but this uses pathos and really appeals to the gamer without retarding their mind with explosions everywhere and predictable plot lines. The characters weren't like Soap or Price. How can you feel any emotional connection to Soap? That makes it less powerful a story when you don't really care if the characters live.
Try Spec Ops: The Line too. The game went under the radar, but it has an amazing campaign which reflects the moral decisions you have to take as a soldier. Plus, it as a deep character developement. You could easily call it: "Apocalypse Now, the game". Takes inspiration from both the movie, and Joseph Cornad's novella "Heart of Darkness". Definitely, one of my favorite war shooters of all time.

We raise their children. We honor and remember them, we live in

and we look to the future. They knew we would have the strength
to carry on in
the face of tragedy, and to become stronger, more amazing
versions of

passing, but inspired by
their memory to live more fully and to make each moment we are given count.
