This is my favorite game. My brother died in Afghanistan, he loved video games, especially Medal of Honor, and every time I here this song I think of him. Rest in peace Matt, wish you were still here with us.

I've played a lotta FPS games, and went through a lotta tear jerking scenes, Ghost and Roach's deaths at the betrayal of Shepherd, Soap's death in MW3, Dunn in Battlefield 4. But not a single one of those prepared me for Rabbit. None of them captured the real emotion. How hard Rabbit tried to hold on, constantly wanting to close his eyes, but snapping back into focus every time one of the squad jostled him. How frantically the squad scrambled to get to a clear zone for choppers, how desperately they tried to get the choppers there, the anger when they hear how far away the choppers had to come from. The amount of friendship, brotherhood, trust, and determination to save their number. Now I know how soldiers in the field feel when one of their own is down. I wasn't expecting that the first time I played this.

when rabbit died, I felt like an actual soldier, and how much this game made a huge impact on me because I never knew what soldiers went through in the battlefield so when I experienced what soldiers were not treating each other as soldiers but rather more like brothers I knew on that moment this was more than just a game, this was a reflection, a reminder to what the navy seals, the air force, and brothers in arms do for us while we don't know half of what goes on in Afghanistan and elsewhere

The scars of war, stays with you for the rest of your life, accompanied by the smells the noise the screams, fear, and the above all the one next to you who becomes your brother, part of you. I think this game is one of the best if not the best(BF3) to deliver the true atmosphere and feelings of war. I salute them for the game they created and the soundtrack is so on spot . I am positive that it comorts alot of our soldiers. I wish they would make another one after MOHW

Men will do anything for their brothers in war. There’s a true story where the Royal Marines attacked an Iraq main base with a few apache helicopters and vehicles. They had to fall back but they lost a man, captured in the base. His closest friends wanted to go back but said they only had an Apache to use so they strapped themselves to the side and flew into the base. A fellow A10 warthog pilot heard about this and also helped. They saved the man who later died of his injuries but they levelled the base afterwards. Out there, you only have each other

If there is anything that this game got right that all people who play the shooter genre can agree on, its the music. Second to none.
I know that everyone is divided on the story and campaign when it's compared to CoD or even Battlefield, but the fact that Danger close tried to stay authentic and create a story based on actual events is something that more people need to acknowledge.
MoH may be dead for now thanks to EA, but I have a feeling that in the not too distant future, MoH can be rebooted to a better statues than it was before, hopefully catching the public's attention like Allied Assault did way back then.

***** MOH has always used real-to-life story lines and its the reason that I have stayed a huge fan for a long time. In all honesty, EA/Dice has ruined the franchise. Look at what they did with Warfighter. The gameplay was excellent, but, on PS3, the comms only worked 20 percent of the time and they just ignored it as an issue. IMO, EA needs to get their shit together. Especially on something that is supposed to honor the men portrayed within. EA...unfuck yourselves!

I was frozen, sitting in my computer chair, watery eyes, reading. If there's one thing Medal of Honor was amazing at, was the single player campaign. It knew that for multiplayer ppl would play Battlefield so it didn't invest too much into it, but if you wanted to play single player, this was where to go. EA had a good plan....Back when they had heart and emotion. Whoever at EA decided to make changes ruined it for MOH.

The multiplayer had many flaws, but the campaign was flawless, it was so immersive and intense, and the ending had so much feels. If you've never played it, the campaign will blow you away

I agree this game's campaign did an excellent job of immersing you into it and the transitions between events kept you in it and made you fell for the characters, their struggles and the real people that this was based off of and of the people that do this every day. Warfighter, however, was a bit... distant. I felt that it didn't immerse you into the feelings of the characters as much except for a few points such as Mother's death. The events did not follow one main element/person and the transitions moved away from what was happening and therefore did not allow for the player to develop such feeling and emotion for the characters in Warfighter.

My life is difficult sometimes because I live with a strange neuronal disorder ,depression is common feature of my mind and yet I cannot understand how I survived until this day ,now I understand the mentality of a soldier that obey a higher command, not only about a nation, because this duty symbolize that you fight for something more than just yourself and I guess that is why you survive no matter what happens.

This game is the greatest shooters game I have ever played, it had every thing from good quality to a fantastic storyline to fun missions. I have cryed only once during gaming and that was when Rabbit died, out of all the characters the one you play the most dies at the end. The men in this game treat eachotherblike brothers and risk there lives for eachother. RIP Rabbit, Mother and all the other soliders that died trying to protect their country, all of you truly deserve the Medal of Honor.

I can't imagine your loss, man. At least you know he died a hero, serving the army to save people like us. And to make his country proud.
Not many people can proudly say something like that.
R.I.P. Matt... R.I.P. Rabbit (AKA Robert) Thank you both.
I may be British. But we're all in this together. That's how we remain strong... united. Never forget our boys or the amazing job they do guys.

You know, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that, and yet, it's so true. The forefathers wanted this piece of freedom so that we could respect each other, and decide what is right, and what is wrong. Freedom of speech never said that respect was not something that was to be denied, but rather encouraged. Thank you for making my day.

These games had so much heart put into them man, so much heart. They need to bring MoH back and have it be a single player focused experienced mostly. They try to make their MP too much like Battlefield and COD. Unless they find a formula that works specifically for them or that makes their MP unique, they should focus more on SP.

I've been reading a book lately that was also about a SEAL mission in Afghanistan. During Operation Redwing, a four-man SEAL team was sent in to capture or kill a key Taliban leader, but they were compromised and faced an enemy that outnumbered them 35 to 1. Three of the SEALs were killed, and the only survivor had to face treacherous terrain and gruesome injuries to get to safety. That operator lived and wrote that book, titled Lone Survivor. It's well worth the read.
