    I was there in 1972.
    It was just a ghost town, nobody lived there, just a few homes in the mountains.
    I went back a year later and there were a few hippie shops - leatherworkers, candlemakers, I think maybe the hotel was open.
    I wouldn't even waste my time going there now. - old yuppies, land developers and other entrepreneurs.
    you all probably don't even know what I mean.

    Jerome was once considered one of the prime ghost towns in Arizona, full of ruins and abandoned buildings. But as your video clearly shows, it is now a tourist attraction and the businesses geared to tourists (fudge!). It is like a fancier Calico Ghost Town and not really worth the trouble to visit unless you like these types of tourist traps.

      Thank you for the comment, I do agree that it is very touristy but I would still recommend going and visiting the State Park to learn the history of the area. It was very informative and interesting.
