Still Picturising Tetes(grandfathers) passing by the streets of village expecting someone to buy the salt. "Tete Chaangsi" Its our blessing to have witnessed the process of salt making through this precious piece ❤️

Now a days all are buying salt from market in a commercial way but to think is that from where it produce ,where's the sources ? Beautiful raw content. I'm from the so called mainland and am sad to see here we have completely lost all our traditions. Good to see in the remote hills of the Patkai the new generation is trying to revive this invaluable heritage.
Looking forward for more documentations. I had read about the salt makings and always wondered the processj. I hope our people would understand such valuable cultures and work towards it to pass down younger generations. Would love to see art of tattoo too

Besides reminiscing the beautiful Folklore of the Queen of Salt and my first time watching and learning the making of traditional salt, I'd like to give a round of applause to the editing team and the cinematographers. It was a wonderful production. I've learned a lot in both aspects.

Kudos to the whole team behind this masterpiece. It was emotionally overwhelming going through every second, every word ( since am not familiar with the dialect) .. We all should be proud of our culture and it is heartbreaking that we have lost most of it. Wancho's and Nokte's have almost the very same culture and practices but in their own unique way. We call it " Sum Thum" ( Salt Well/Pond) , there's 2 that I know of in our village but has been lost in wild for long long time now.. I hope this initiative will lighten up the enthusiasm to preserve our invaluably beautiful lost culture and traditions!! Thank You once again!
