The audience laughing, hollering and hooting during the Kurios section has made my day. They sound like they're having a blast and so am I, albeit from the comfort of my own home.
I cannot thank you enough for adding the original Alegria act at the end. It's more than iconic, it's godly, from a different dimension, at this point.
Agreed - while all of the performers are just breathtaking in their abilities, the original Alegria people just seemed to exude a special kind of energy and yet made the jumps and spins look effortless. Kudos to all the Cirque performers that never cease to entertain us.
I miss being able to travel and see Cirque Du Soleil so much. They're literally the only reason for me to visit Las Vegas. I hope they survive the pandemic and re-emerge when it's safe to do so.
When I saw Kurios in person I remember being really terrified they would hit the light fixtures at the top of the tent! It was so impressive and breathtaking.
Aeronet is precisely-tuned low-impedance performance structure. This is on of the best examples of low impedance I've ever seen. Starting at 14:35. Several notes: 1. The waves are slow-moving. The cyclist is pulsing his front wheel to make waves and then "riding" that wave with his back wheel. Wow! Only a playful person would have figured that out. 2. One person jumping on the Aeronet can only get a few feet off the net, but 2, 3, or 6 people pulsing a split-second before a jump can produce gargantuan height. 3. Damping (different from dampening) is done in reverse: the person lands, and all the other acrobats are lifted up a split-second later. You can see this well in the 8th bounce after 21:55. Notice how they other performers are pulsing energy into bounces 1-7. 4. Timing is crucial! A mistimed pulse by a partner will be far less efficient than pulsing in the "sweet spot". This lesson applies to our bodies: muscles must cooperate statically, but their contractions must also have the correct phase relationship in order to work efficiently. Gracefulness arises in the timing. 5. Even if we've never thought about it, our CNS is a master of these frequency/phase relationships: running, walking, breathing, dancing the Argentine Tango, etc. Our brains love solving these math problems of moving in low tension; it loves "going with the flow". If you're constantly moving in a rigid fashion on stable surfaces, your brain gets really bored. 6. If you've ever been Kurios why we see horrendous accidents at trampoline parks, wonder no more. CdS's athletes are highly-trained; they are mindful of everything happening on stage. Support staff are constantly monitoring the tensions of their precisely-tuned gear and the safety of the performers. Conditions are very different at a trampoline park. Trampolines have a much higher impedance: waves travel faster. Individuals can jump higher; a second person bouncing on a surface will have rapid impact. Most of us don't learn about tuned frequency-dependent phase-dependent waves beforehand; the lessons from a bounce park can be immediate and cruel. I don't intend to end the message with a downer, but it's important to understand such things. I talk regularly with world-class manual and movement instructors; the word "impedance" is starting to creep into the vocabulary. That's a wonderful thing. We are not rigid bodies; rigid body physics provides the most basic approximation of how we work. Our bodies have pockets of stored energy -- teeny tiny tuned trampolines -- everywhere. Use them, and have fun!
Thanks to this videos I discovered Kurios and fell in love with it. For trampoline La Nouba is literally a party! But Alegria's OG, come on, that's just a Cirque classic and unbeatable. Amazing artists everywhere.
All were amazing! Can’t believe how many different ways they presented trampolining. Who thinks up these concepts and ideas for these numbers? And costumes were incredible.👏👏👏👏👏
La Nouba was the first Cirque show I saw (on TV mind you, small town far north QLD Aus) and I will always remember that trampoline act! Not a dull moment and just performed so perfectly, and the clowns in that show are incorporated so beautifully in the acts it's just a seamless marriage of all the disciplines. She's timeless
That is called CIRQUE! Thanks for having them all together, pure joy, pure cirque 😻 old school is just top class 💪💪💪 hair-thin precise movements and artistic excellence 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you Cirque for one of my favourite acts in all shows, the trampoline! Although I very much prefer the original Alegria version (my all time best) it's always great to see. All trampoline act are just great acts, love 'em. edit: That was a big surprise at the end, the original version from Alegria 🙏🏻🧡🤟🏼Thank you for that!
All of the acts in every show are just amazing, but I must say that my favorite part was the trampoline at OVO. I had the chance to see the show in Santiago de Chile and it was WONDERFUL. LET'S FOR MORE CIRQUE
The next special could be the Trapeze acts! Such a variety of types of trapeze can be found like the solo trapezes from Alegría and Kooza; the duo trapezes from Saltimbanco, "O" and Dralion; triple trapeze from Varekai; Washington trapeze from "O"; the cloud swing from Quidam; the dance trapeze from Varekai; flying trapeze from Mystère, Zarkana or even Nouvelle Expérience... It would be a phenomenal special.
Выступления воздушное, очень красиво,смотрела на одном дыхании.Вы супер молодчинки, здоровья Вам крепкого и всех благ всем артистам, храни Вас Господь.Вы просто сила!!!!!!!
Thank you Cirque de Soleil for bringing these wonderful performers to my home, such precision, they have to know exactly what they are doing,on the acrobatics of the trampoline. When I was a teenager I was on the trampoline and the floor mat, it is not easy to do, I applaud all of you. I hope someday I'm able to go see Cirque de Soleil again,my Mother and I had the privilege of seeing Cirque de Soleil's Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour, Jan-24-2012, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Wow! Such a wonderful tribute to Michael, I had tears in my eye and I wanted to get up and dance right along with the performers. Thank you again and please don't stop sending me you're wonderful concerts shows, you have a devoted fan in me. I hope all of you stay safe and God bless.
The trampoline runways are awesome! Feels like watching the Olympics but without the obnoxious opening ceremony! Or anything else they pulled off!! The trampoline beds reminded me of my childhood. Three sisters all in one room, the youngest (moi) in a crib. However that didn’t stop me from jumping from the crib to my sisters bed and back again. And after hearing the bouncing noise the furniture made, daddy, who was trying to enjoy either his latest National Geographic or his Yachting magazine finally had enough and we’d hear “get to bed!” Yelled from the living room. Good times!!
Omg the end got me in tears! I watched it like 100 times as a kid on my TV in Brazil. I learned all the songs but valsapena was my favorite ❣️ I had the opportunity to watch kurus last year in Italy and also in 2013 at Turin as a student ❤
Immense enjoyment!! Thank you Cirque du Solieil performers, musical artists, choreographers, costume & makeup designers, set designers and all of the other creative and talented individuals who work to bring the enjoyment to so many of us! Best Love & Respect to you all!
cirque du soleil show are the most incredible and perfect things you can see in the world. It's just amazing! The perfection of the artists, the music, costumes, choreographies ist just breathtaking.
The Trampoline Music in OVO is Amazing and so well Composed. The Mat Flipping is amazing to and how they hang on that wall. Saw it Live when Ovo Toured Edmonton and it was great
I bought my 4yr old a trampoline a few days ago, and then I showed him Cirque du Soleil ... not sure if that was the best idea 😂🤦🏼♀️ (BTW you guys are absolutely captivating! I couldn’t stop watching from start to finish! Cant wait to see a live show!) 🙌🏼👏🏼😍
We saw Ovo at Dickies last month for my birthday and it was incredible! The performances and performers are top notch! Can't wait to see my next show! My husband who had little interest in going was highly impressed and has jumped on the band wagon.
I have never seen one of these shows, but watching a few of these videos I LOVE to see that they use spotters. That they are putting safety before pure special effects. Edit: I’ve watched most of the video now and I’m sorry to see that wasn’t a common occurrence
If OVO ever goes away, bring it back as your way of retelling the story of Disney and Pixar A Bug's Life. Also, please put slack wire and foot juggling back into the show. Cuz not only their classic acts, but it makes it so a little longer.
My daughter and I have missed not getting our Cirque "fix" in 2021. Luckily the last one we saw was Luzia in Jan 2020 just ahead of the world stopping. We may have to wait now until July 2022 for Corteo. Oh well, dvds and TH-cam until then. Saltimbanco was our first show back in 1996 we were hooked from that point on.
What would be the effect of a trampoline acrobat given a padded quarterstaff? A: It can be mock weapon for mock combat. B: It can be an object exchanged with another acrobat. C: It can be an object to store/release angular momentum
The audience laughing, hollering and hooting during the Kurios section has made my day. They sound like they're having a blast and so am I, albeit from the comfort of my own home.
Still to this day nothing can top La Nouba! The Music the choreography everything about it 100% flawless
Especially the duet moment!
I cannot thank you enough for adding the original Alegria act at the end. It's more than iconic, it's godly, from a different dimension, at this point.

Yes,me to I hate Coved19 so much its funking stupid.
Just saw opening of Cirque Du Soleil in Vegas last night! Great show....my first time.
I just went to Vegas and they’re back!! My first time to see them…I’m hooked!
I used to like them more when they weren’t so porny like the whole old balls Internet, tv, and movies.
I love the whimsy of Corteo’s trampoline beds. It’s like a little kid’s dream.
When I saw Kurios in person I remember being really terrified they would hit the light fixtures at the top of the tent! It was so impressive and breathtaking.
original alegria = best ever
yes the new one seems too diffrent to be called alegria.

Such beauty and such grace. Cirque is truly a Godsend.

That last one was my absolute favorite! It was magnificent and spellbinding
This is wonderful, I’ve been a trampoliner for 26 yrs! Just love it!
All were amazing! Can’t believe how many different ways they presented trampolining. Who thinks up these concepts and ideas for these numbers? And costumes were incredible.👏👏👏👏👏
The costumes are always amazing ♥️
uooow thanks Cirque du soleil, my child enjoy very much all the shows, he has five years old and want to be an acrobat. :-)

I had the honour of seeing the last trampoline act in Nice, France which was simply the most breathtaking and moving experience.
That is called CIRQUE! Thanks for having them all together, pure joy, pure cirque 😻 old school is just top class 💪💪💪 hair-thin precise movements and artistic excellence 👏👏👏👏👏

And la Nouba!
They've done a best of aerial already I think
La nouba is the best! Especially the duet moment!

Cuanto alegria me da y nostalgia, el circo es una de las cosas que mas ansio ver de nuevo y que lastimosamente el coronavirus nos quito.

ALEGRIAAAA
I see 👀 Palhaçada (in red)! @28:44-37:00 Splendid!
6-) Alegria New Light
5-) Ovo
4-) Corteo
3-) Kurios
2-) Alegria
1-) La Nouba
MY OPINION
el mejor circo de todo el mundo
I missed a bit Mr. Fleurs acrobatic scene during the Valsapena part of the song in Alegria, but still amazing!
It was a great pleasure to have you among us! 🎪
The Bronxs in the original Alegria reminds me of pirates for some reason.. The Bronxs in the new Alegria reminds me of sex predators. :x
i agree with you ) that's actually a definition quite on point )
What would be the effect of a trampoline acrobat given a padded quarterstaff?
