- This is a short side by side compilation of Olaf's interpretation of these films versus how they are actually portrayed.
Olaf Presents (2021) is a 5 episode mini series where Olaf performs his interpretation of the events of 5 different iconic Disney Animations assisted by Sven, Marshmallow. and Snow Babies.
Disney + has been going on a rampage as of late and I am enjoying some of the new offerings! I am especially excited for what's arriving from Marvel!
The films are shown in this order -
Olaf Presents [Season 1]:
#1 - The Little Mermaid (1989) [4min.]
#2 - Moana (2016) [4min.]
#3 - The Lion King (1994) [4min.]
#4 - Aladdin (1992) [4min.]
#5 - Tangled (2010) [4min.]
#6 - "BONUS COMPILATION" (They basically combined all the above shorts into one 9 min. long episode.) [12min.]
Sorry for the lack of commentary in the video tho, I felt like the clips that are shown didn't need further explanation since they are very straight forward.

FUN FACT - On the Left @5:50 The poster of "Flynn Rider"(Olaf) is a call back to "Once Upon a Snowman" where @3.05 Olaf was given a fish as a substitute nose supplied by Mr. Oaken as Olaf was on a quest for a nose. Unfortunately Anna bought all the carrots Oaken had which led to a lil montage of different noses before Olaf discovered summer.

You will have to include Tangled the series because before that, it looked like before the series there was a moon drop history (which honestly I kinda like more than what happened in the series)
Jill Evers, he said that cuz Rapynzel and Flynn was in the first frozen movie, during For The First Time In Forever.
I freaking love how they confirmed Rapunzel and Eugene weren’t just an Easter Egg in the movie, and they’re both close friends with Olaf and the others 🥺

The detail about Rapunzel being Olaf's friend (I can totally see her and Anna getting along as well), and Marshmallow learning to speak in much more comprehensive and non-roary sentences, as well as doing things like retracting spikes and whatnot on command is really cute!!

@@legoking6165 for the first Kingdom Hearts game they had to use permission from the original creator of Tarzan just to use it though it's licensed as Disney they had to get permission from the actual creator. And thus why Tarzan never appeared in future KH games

In Olaf’s recap of The Little Mermaid, they changed a line of dialogue. It used to be “You’re a garbage collector, just like your mother!” I don’t remember what they changed it to, but I know it didn’t line up with the animation.

This was pretty cute. I especially loved the Tangled bit(Tangled being one of my fav Disney animated films) and particularly the "I See The Light" callback. Love that scene.
For a season 2, I'd (personally) would want to see Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, The Princess and the Frog, and finally Encanto (just watched it and it was great!)

I mean you're not wrong. This recent surge of new content on Disney+ might show that Disney possibly is increasing the amount of new content to help attract and maintain subscriptions.

This just made me roll in so much laughter😂 I wanted to rewatch all of these movies but I never expected I would love it this way😆 Olaf just did so much justice!!! The best parts are the Sven scene in Moana when Maui transformed, Olaf singing both parts of"A Whole New World" (which I very much relate to HAHAHAH) and the one that warms my heart, Olaf actually confirming Anna and Elsa's close connection to Rapunzel by having Olaf say she's a friend of him. I love it! I wished they did Beauty and the Beast, I would love Olaf as Lefou!!!

Okay, so I'm seeing a lot of comments about movies they want him to do in a season two, and I just gotta put this out there. WDAS CCO Jennifer Lee, said she picked these five stories because they were all set before Frozen II, in 1842, that way it would make sense how Olaf knows them. So stories set after this wouldn't work.
That actually makes sense why they decided to put these five movies. Except the lion King.
