I stupidly got the 1st gen of this in silver. Think I've carried it twice. *Biggest* problem is mode memory & not knowing if you'll blind everyone with it coming on in high. And it's heavy/bulky.

Guys... because i have sofirn sp10 pro, wurkkos ts10 and many other nice edc 14500 flashlights(olight, fenix etc), when you hold the Acebeam rider 2 in your hand, ( i have the titanium version with the warmer 519 nichia), you really feel the quality is above most of the competition. My only concern is that if i drop this i dont know the impact it will have to the fidget mechanism. The perfectly round wide hotspot, the updated pocket clip, the copper inside the head of the flashlight for heat dissipation, the finish on the titanium which keeps up well with scratches, the updated metal button with rubber insert, the glass lens, its a star. I carry it every day for the last 2 months, believe me you won't be disappointed. I wish the back of the flashlight had a magnet but its not a big deal. Go for the titanium.

I actually like the 1.0 Nichia version as my bedside night light and reading light. Prefer the original design also. I also have the 1000 lumen Pokelit Grey and it seems to have the same big moon hotspot as this RX 2.0 and I think that is a Chinese XP 50 or something. Supplying 3x14500 is something I've not seen before?
I'm not 100% sure it comes with all 3. does seem odd
