Diggins Environmental Services Mack MR Heil Half/Pack FL

I am very excited to present the oldest front loader that ran in the Diggins Environmental Services fleet, and also my first video on this channel of LEGENDARY driver Chris Nelson! There were actually two of these old Mack Half/Packs in the Diggins fleet. However, I only managed to get one clip of unit 505 before it broke down and stayed that way for years. Thankfully, 504 was the faster and louder unit of the two, so I am very grateful to have the footage in this video and more of this unit. This was the last line spare for the Diggins FL fleet for years. However, it actually got used quite frequently because there were at least 3 Diggins front loaders down at any given time. I was extremely lucky to catch it multiple times with legendary relief driver Chris Nelson behind the wheel!
Chris Nelson has easily been one of my favorite operators to record throughout my time recording garbage trucks. No matter what truck he was using, I could always expect him to pushing it to the max! Any time that I heard from another driver that Chris was running a front load route, I would drop everything and get over there as soon as possible. There were even a couple of months towards the end of his time at Diggins that he would text me his exact location to make finding him super easy. Whenever I think of the first half of 2021, the first thing I think of is all of the great memories filming Chris Nelson. Chris if you are able to find this video, HUGE thank you for all the great memories!
