I am currently going through the au pair process as we speak at I must say this video helped me a lot and I’m so excited for everything to fall into place
Heyy Sis 🌼I just wanted to find out when is the best time to start applying? Like when are host families usually active and looking for au pairs? I love your content by the way 💞 you're super informative and I definitely appreciate the effort you go through for sharing so much with us.❤️
Hey love ! to be honest I don't even know the best time is when you are ready to be honest ! because this whole thing is a gamble ! and there are host familes looking for Au-pairs all the time ! Thank you so much I am glad that its informative 🥺❤️
Thank you so much for this video sis. Very informative. Quick question... is the Au pair experience only for 1 year and you HAVE TO come back? Or can you decide to relocate and live there full time?
you're welcome 💕, the visa limit is 2 years after your first year you can choose to extend with the same family or a different one the options to extend are 6 months, 9 months or 12 months and then if you decide you want to stay after the 2 years you'll need to change your visa into the student visa (this one is if you'll be studying in the USA) the marriage one ( that's if you'll be getting married) and others I'm not too fond of, but once your two years is complete yes you'll need to come back home.
it means that the agency is going to call you and ask you a few questions before it will go live and they'll also be calling all the people on your reference list ❤️
woah this one is difficult question what I can say the state doesn't really matter its the people, the host family and your experience and also it depends on the type of weather you like and if you like a city or suburb and my opinion is going to be very bias based off my favorite states !😅
@@TimewithModiTime also i wanted to ask for advice, so I recently just finished my undergrad this year and I was thinking of au pairing next year. My thing is I'm trying to decide between au pairing next year or first doing my postgrad/honours and then au pairing the year after. Not sure what to do, any takers?
It could be due to the fact that you have mental health issues or serious health issues and to me the mental health issues one is weird because we are all human you know but some families /agencies feel uncomfortable with hosting an Aupair with serious mental health issues because they think that it could affect their kids , also having a criminal record that is a big factor too or if the agency feels like you’re not a good fit for the program but that one is very unlikely these are the ones I know of there isn’t any others I can think of
@@TimewithModiTime i was actually thinking about that mental health thing, if it’s wise to mention it in the process of getting to know your host families or in your intro video. I guess it’s better to keep it to yourself
Hey babe Can you pay cultural care once you are hired and paid by the family? Or you need to get the money yourself first? Do you book your own flight’s?

Where did you get your child care experience

Hie . My application is on pending interview . What does that mean
it means that the agency is going to call you and ask you a few questions before it will go live and they'll also be calling all the people on your reference list ❤️
@@TimewithModiTime thanks a lot . How long must I wait till they call ?
Hey may I ask how that went?

It kindergarten house or...plz help
I don't understand the question
Can males also do aupair
Yes they can !! There are many bro pairs!
which states are best to au pair in?
woah this one is difficult question what I can say the state doesn't really matter its the people, the host family and your experience and also it depends on the type of weather you like and if you like a city or suburb and my opinion is going to be very bias based off my favorite states !😅

What could be the reason that your application is not successful though?

Hey sisi
Do you have to do and pay for your passport yourself? Or does the agency pay it.
Yoh wow 15k issa lot😳🥺
Yeah 15k it is a lot of money shame ! yes I had to pay for it all on my own
They don't take men
Cultural Care does take boys !
Can you please send me the link please please
Hey babe
Can you pay cultural care once you are hired and paid by the family? Or you need to get the money yourself first?
Do you book your own flight’s?
you will have to pay a program fee and the flight the host family pays for it.
Is there an agency that is free or an agency that allows you to pay once you get the job
Snamile I don't know of any the best advice I can give you is do research and talk to other agencies and ask them🥺
