I have a friend who met him when he did a play in London years ago and she said that he kept making her friends laugh so I do buy that.

OMG, yes!! I second that. Lisa’s giggles are enough to turn anyones cranky mood and bad day into something a bit brighter. Even if only for a few minutes - boy is it a break from the stresses of life. I would love if these two had carried a morning show all those years after Friends. I’d have watched: Live with Kelly and Ryan, IF it had been: Live with Lisa and Matthew.
@@RWRogers I would have watched every episode. That's a missed opportunity! I love how their wits play off of each other. Both are quick on their feet. Maybe Kudrow could consider something like that in the future. Maybe with a different Matt? LeBlanc is little like Joey IRL, but he has a good wit as well.

Now that he’s gone I’m binge watching all his interviews. I have always loved him on friends but to see him actually be funny in real life hits my heart harder. Even though he was kidding I always thought he was the funniest of the boys and she was the funniest of the girls.
Me too with the binge watching. He makes my heart smile like none other. It hurts my heart that's even though he claimed he was happy he never really was
Kudrow was the funniest of the girls. My fav! And you can see her ego is secure in this interview.

Not sure about that... in the Friends Special, Fat Corben said do you keep in Touch and Matt said, Ive not heard of any of them for years. It ws heartbreaking in retrospect... watch it and see what I mean 😞 I think Lisa was the only one looking out for him in the last 20 years

Lisa has the best laugh ever!! My heart breaks just thinking about how Jen, Courtney, Lisa, David, and Matt are feeling right now. 😢 These characters came into our home and still do every day. I also believe that Matty was most like his character Chandler, and we are grieving both men in some weird twisted way. Rest easy, Matty! You will always make the world laugh 😊 You will be missed 😢❤

Yes!! Shocking news bec they r like our friends through that shown. I watched his book tour interview video at one of the auditorium. He told the story of how he knew he is Chandler and how he incorporated his usual talk of - Could it B any better. That how he and his 2 buddies created that when they were young. 😂 Missed him so much
You are so right, because Matty based his reading of Chandler off of his own humor and style from audition one. Chandler was him. And yes, he is missed.

anyone who thinks Matthew Perry isn't a funny person needs to have a serious word with themselves. even the other Friends actors have said in interviews that it was difficult to carry on filming with a straight face because he was naturally hilarious on set. watch the bloopers, you can see for yourself!

Truly incredible interview. I love Lisa and Matthew so much! Phoebe and Chandler were always my favourite characters.
Reading all the comments marked 9 years ago, 11 years ago, 3-4 weeks ago..and thinking to myself Matthew was still alive then Matthew was still alive then. I'm absolutely heartbroken. Never has a celebrity death hit me so hard to the extent that I actually slipped into a depression. Friends is my life and Matthew and Lisa are my favourites. Unable to come to terms with this.

It was so good to see Matty with Lisa Kudrow again. He’s funny and so is she. I can imagine what Lisa, Jen, Courtney, David, and Matt are going through. I love them. They all had great chemistry. Glad they were friends on set and off. That’s what really loved the most. I’m glad Matty was around because he made us laugh when we needed to. Thank you Matty for brining us laughter. I will always remember you as helping others. Thank you for your talent as an actor, and writer, and producer, and talk show host. Rest easy with the angels. You will be missed. 😢❤

Interesting to see Matthew Perry in this in 2013. He was very sharp mentally and looked great. Compare this to the Friends reunion 9 years later and he deteriorated so much both physically and mentally that it was sad to see.

Matthew was incredible in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I cannot for the life of me understand why that show wasn't a massive, long-running success. Such is life, I guess.
NBC screwed over a lot of shows in the 1990s and 2000s by putting certain shows in competitive timeslots

It's unfair that jennifer and Lisa own an emmy, not one of the guys They where the funniest without a doubt, and on friends chandler was the funniest and most people would say that. On sitest where you can Vote for you're favorite character on friends chandler always has the most votes between 40-60% that says alot!
