Wow, you did a phantastic job of aligning those interviews and combining them into an interesting to watch and easy to follow story. Absolutely great job! This is flight chops level, no doubt!
Thank you for making the video, truly appreciated. It’s great to see the passion and enthusiasm of all involved. The VL3 is an astounding aircraft with stunning lines. It’s moving to know this is happening and I can only believe they’ll excel with future aircraft. I can’t wait to see what’s coming. 👍🏻
Tks for this. I, as you, love what these creative people have done. Every aspect of this airplane has been beautifully tailored too perfection. 👍 gear up !
A very interesting first video in the series and a beautiful looking aircraft. It was good to hear from the people involved and the processes that they went through. Not easy to film and edit a video of this kind but you did a great job Jolmer and I look forward to the next one!
This is indeed the kind of small aircraft that interests me. TH-cam is loaded with features about flying jeeps. Kudos to those guys for what they do. But the VL3 is the kind of flying I enjoy and want to see here.
Love the VL3 Series you filmed! Just one quick question as I could not find any info about your equipment - what kind of camera do you use to film this? Thank you!
Awesome aircraft. I have been looking into these. Would be good to get the company to explain what they have done to improve the spin recovery of the aircraft. There does seem to be a rather high accident rate in the past. Lots of info on the net on this.
I don't know what they improved exactly, but I stalled their 912 version a couple of times and was pretty stable. Of course, we didn't do any self induced spins, but the plane didn't have nasty wing drop habits at all. If you want to know more, send them a message with your questions. I know they're more than happy to explain it all.
Yes, I believe it does look like a Lancair? Interesting question! So the comparison should be power to speed ratio and to see what the same geometry (only bigger) would do, speed wise?
Well, I know from @hirnklempner on TH-cam, who is pretty tall, that he fits in his VL3 nicely. But to be sure, please contact the factory on www.jmbaircraft.com and ask for Lukas or Jean Marie 😉
@@ForFunFlyer looks like the Ferrari of the Microlight world to me. You should have asked for a discount for showing it on your channel, like 75% with the rest made up with the part ex of your current aircraft. 😁
youtube thinks this video is in dutch :) With 3 guys they could make 3 planes in a year. With 125 people they make 55 planes. It's a simple plane, it should be possible to improve that speed quite a bit.
@@buzzinbritain8222 Oh, you mean that part. That was in the startup phase of JMB. They make all the parts themselves nowadays. Watch the next episode, so you can see for yourselve...
I see that there have been two loss of control fatal accidents with the VL3 in the last two months - hopefully it's not something fundamentally wrong with the aircraft :/
I don't know. It feels like a very stable and fast airplane to me. If you really want to know more, then contact JMB Aircraft. Perhaps they can elaborate.
This was so much fun, thank you for your visit Jolmer!
It was! 😀 I didn't even left the country and I already was homesick to you guys! But... I'll be back soon! 😎
I've lurked the JMB website for many months, but this collection of interviews makes me want one that much more!
@@The_R_Vid Whoops, sorry for that... 😋 Then don't watch the next two episodes, it won't help your situation? 🤣🙈
👍☑️ wow 3 episodes, can't wait!
Me neither, haha! 😋 Thanks! 👍🏻

Thanks! 😀 That means a lot to me, to be compared to my biggest idol on TH-cam! 👌🏻
OUTSTANDING video, Jolmer... looking forward to seeing the rest of your series on the VL3!
Thanks! 👍🏻
Nice one Buddy! Looking forward to the other two episode of the trilogy! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! 😎👍🏻

Wow, what a pretty aircraft. Can’t wait till the next video. 👍
Thanks! 👍🏻 You're not the only one, haha! 😉 Well, I already started on the second one, so between now and two weeks hopefully done 🤞🏻
This is fun guys... I love the airplane is beautiful... I love the story as well... Thank you.

I totally agree! 👍🏻 These are all just a bunch of Mozarts in their field, that yielded an incredible aircraft. I'm just blown away... 👌🏻
What a great episode! Such a beautiful and nimble aircraft, thanks for sharing this experience Jolmer!
You bet! 😉 Thanks bud! 👍🏻
Wooooow!!! Top work! 👏
Thanks bud! 😀👍🏻
Nice introduction of JMB! Now stop teasing and post the other episodes soon 🤩
Ready for the ride! 🚀
Haha, thanks! 👍🏻 Well, there's an episode between this one and the one about the flight 😋

Love the VL3 Series you filmed! Just one quick question as I could not find any info about your equipment - what kind of camera do you use to film this? Thank you!
Thanks! 👍🏻 This is shot on 4 GoPro Hero 3+'s and a Canon Powershot G7X II. A couple months ago, I switched to a Sony ZV-E10 as my main camera 😉

@@hm250 Well, try it again and mention you watched my video. Who knows it helps?
have a nice day. I would like information about the technical details and prices of your 2 and 4 seater aircraft. thanks.
What does this model remind me of? Maybe a Lancair? Would be interesting to see how they compare.
Yes, I believe it does look like a Lancair? Interesting question! So the comparison should be power to speed ratio and to see what the same geometry (only bigger) would do, speed wise?

@@ForFunFlyer I really enjoyed the history. Looking forward to the production episode.
