- This Standard Janna & Bursting Backpack deck is all about shuffling Poison Puffcaps and Chimes. Start by printing the backpack with the help of Evil Imperfectionist, then use Station Archivest and Chief Mechanist Zevi to get additional copies. This deck is a BIG MEME but hilarious when it pops off!

i like how Backpack is such a power creep compared to Mushroom cloud, 1 mana burst shuffle 5 shrooms vs shuffle 4 shrooms 4 chimes and a copy of this and all future copies shuffle 4 more shrooms and chimes
But you can't just buff mushroom cloud and be done with it as it doesn't exist in a vacuum. It gets created by Clump of Wumps and Chump Wump, and it's Teemo's champ spell. It's a bit like the Loyal Badgerbear vs. Blocking Badger, where being created by another card makes a card harder to balance without throwing off the balance of the cards that create it.

It creating a copy of itself is a bad thing unless you’re specifically making a backpack deck though, since it’s not a very good wincon on its own it will be a dead draw in a different deck

The pz-si combination has to be the best in the freaking game (in terms of all the fun archetypes and combos that they can do)
For example?
Just use Shellfolk Predict deck, you can pretty much infinite copy spam Bursting Backpack once you drop them and play them for free due to discount.

God I love these printer decks. Vik/zoe got me into this channel and Runeterra but I stayed for the hilarious decks that work only in 1 in 10 of matches.
As much as I don't like watching livestreams, please keep doing these vids, they make my days better

I saw a Bard/Zed deck on reddit that was basically the Wildfire package, but with Backpack. My friend played it against me a few times, and you can get 150+ puffcaps pretty easily with it along with scary units from the chimes. Might be worth a shot.

If backpack had draw one it might be possible. But only works with shellfolk infinite to work right now.

The only problem I have with backpack is that if you want to see the massive chimes it's irrelevant because the shrooms kill them before you can do anything with the chimes.

Just wondering, at 11:02, couldn't he have played all Zaunite Urchins and just not discard anything to level Janna? Iirc you can just click done without discarding when playing them
yeah I'm playing against watery grave so at that point I wasn't sure if I wanted to level Janna for her extra draw at round start in fear of milling myself

I wonder if u can make a warden deck thats interesting, cause i made a warden si deck that uses soul cleave and chronicler to copy buffs from warden and the reptile, although for some reason the reptile draws the cards then buff the next few when soul cleaved

I versed a deck with akshan valley and that one thing that coppies your predicted thing and they used 63 backpacks in one round and I drew 23 shrooms the round after

They can’t use 63 copies in one turn, though. I guess it was an exaggeration.
@@M.Nihankin they had cost lowered by 1 which makes it a 0 burst and they predicted into other predicts which makes them get 2 predicts through rock singers(I think that was the card) and than they used those predicts to predict into backpacks which are also 2 instead of one sooooo they could've went on forever if they didn't get card overloaded but I think it was like 25 at least
@@umei2819 yeah, I know! but there’s a fixed maximum of times you can play the same card in one turn. It’s 15; 20; or 25. Can’t remember the exact number now.

The wildfire deck was not drawing any shrooms cause they kept drawing newly printed wildfires. Honestly it's a pretty bad matchup for that deck
Oh, and also you could have played the Zaunite urchins without discarding anything. That way you could had a wider board without loosing cards

I don't know about u guys but if they are going to nerf something about Janna's package(outside of maryam) I think divine whirlwind is just too good

gonna be real theres definitely been a lot of cards I don't like in runeterra and think are just unfun. But bursting backpack is the first card I think is just actively bad for the game. That game against the poro guy really shows it to literally losing the game doing nothing having everything go wrong the enemy drew the nuts went 6 wide with every card having impact and 5/5+ stats. kekw backpack draw card literally never hit nexus dies anyways. like huh??? why does this card go infinite by itself?
I have to say the addition of wildfire and backpack have honestly ruined runterra for me. Such boring decks to play against you can't do anything. There is little to no interaction. They get their hand they win and if not you win. There's nothing else to it.
