    I'm kinda surprised that you guys seem to be amazed by the Mangosteen. It's such a common fruit, not at all something unique or special to Colombia.

    That fruits are typical in Indonesia, guanabana = sirsak and mangostinos = manggis, I'm forgot the other one's name but I've seen that fruit, smells like manggo

      Exactly..!! I believe many of those fruits are commonly found in market throughout all countries in South East Asia !!
      Nevertheless, I'm happy to find out that we share similar taste in fruits with our fellow South American friends 😊

    Guanábana or soursop is a very common fruit in the Caribbean, we had a tree in the backyard in my house in the Dominican Republic when I was a kid.

    In my country of Cameroon (in Africa) we have Guanabana too but we call it corossol. It is sooo good and sweet, my dad grows it too.

      In Indonesia we call it Sirsak.. it's great for juices, I love when it has a little tang to it, it's like a mix between a pineapple and a green apple 😁

    all the fruits mention here are consumed in southeast asia too Guabanana = Sisrak , Mangostino = manggis and Zapote = Sawo

    It's such a shame that so many great fruits aren't getting the recognition they deserve. Mangosteen is by far my favorite fruit.

    😍😍😍 is guanabaña and guyabano the same??? And yes, mangosteen/mangostino is so delicious!! 😍😍😍.. I wanna go to that market and eat all fruits available!!! I AM A DEVOTED FRUIT LOVER
    Edit: It is quite the same !! Here in the philippines, we also have abana or guyabano!!! Yup, that fruit is also delicious not do not overripe it... it became too soggy to eat and that is a no-no

    In indonesia guanabana is called sirsak, i have 5 trees in my frontyard. And mangosteen is very delicious, and the skin is a superfood, well, legends said it can cure cancer. Sorry for bad english

    Guanabana i called soursop in the carribean basin mild sweetness but memorable flavour. Its easily paired with milk for a sweet fruity treat when chilled. It used to flavour icecream, and juices.

    Here in Malaysia we also have the guanábana (soursop) and the mangostino (mangosteen). In fact, I have a soursop tree right in front of my house!

    My grandparents had 2 guanabana trees and the fruits were kinda dangerous cos they came off really easy and could weigh 10 kilos, they tasted great though

    Guanabana - isn’t that soursop? You can get that in desserts here in Singapore. Also juice in canned drinks. Mangosteens are known as the queen of fruits here (Durian being king).

    in Malaysia guanabana are called durian belanda while mangostina are called manggis, both of them are very popular native fruits of Malaysia and its tree scattered across Malaysia

    Just to point out, mangostino (mangosteen) is from Southeast Asia, while the other 2 fruits originate from Central/South America.

    I was expecting something unusual. Apparently we have all of these fruits in Philippines. And the prices are way cheaper.
