This is the best and most honest review of this game I've heard. Even I've quit the game for the same issues. I thought something was wrong with me because of all the positive reviews online but I'm glad i found your review 😂👌
@UncleJackson nah just keep giving your honest reviews man. People don't have much selection these days. They play what everyone's playing and be like oh yeah it's nice because everyone's playing and don't have or don't care for t other's opinions. I've subscribed. Looking for more nice reviews from you 👍
This is the same as buying Elden ring thinking it would a witcher like open world rpg and the crying about it coz you keep getting your ass handed to you around every corner. The bugs are egregious at the moment, sure. But to complain about the mechanics that are the DNA of a game like this is simply screaming ignorance before buying a product.
@@themanyverse8072 If the identity of the game is being tedious and unfun and it's true to that identity doesn't make it a good game. Elden ring kicks my ass but it's still FUN.
> buys game known for its bleak supernatural setting, difficult gameplay, survival mechanics and slavjank > screams when setting is bleak and supernatural > screams when cant get gud or be fked to find any loot > screams when has to play the survival mechanics > screams when slavjank Are you sure the imaginary wife didn't leave because she came as advertised and you still keep screaming at her?
Like most things in life, sometimes you find your match sometimes you don't. This game to you is similar to Dark Souls to me; I know people like it but I won't play it again. But one thing we can agree in common is there should not be "pay now fix later" game. I understand the circumstance for the devs team but we have early access and pre-order for a reason.
Just another guy that thought "Ohhh a cool shooter, that must be like Fallout or even COD!", people have to start putting more effort in listening the devs than focusing if the game has pretty graphics or life-like guns...
God, my willpower must be made of Titanium or something, I love this game. Don't get me wrong, I agree with every point made in this but let's remember that this game was made by a company dodging bombs every time they go out for lunch, some of the people of the company are vets in the war between ukraine and russia, some of them even died. The fact they made this game at all in such a tough time is why I'm not bashing on it. As a matter of fact, I'm damn impressed by the quality it has considering the circumstances. But yeah, the bloodsuckers and all flesh mutants are pretty annoying to deal with in this game. Would've been better if we actually got something out of it. Not to mention that getting the amount of coupons necessary to both repair and upgrade weapons and armor is tough as shit. Enemies see you pretty quickly and I'm basically crouch-walking immediately everywhere since I'm a fan of stealth. Let's not mention that you're almost always encumbered in this game. Now- one thing I should say which is a tip I wish I knew earlier, the stashes. Their inventories are saved, you can use them as places to put unnecessary gear for a while so you can free up more inventory space. Convenient for sure. Just a shame you can only have 10 map pins. As of currently, there are mods that make some changes for these things, such as giving Bloodsuckers a 1/3rd of their hp or making repairs cost way less. Pretty sure there's one to make fast travel free too.
More power to you, enjoy the game! A lot of the balancing issues, like the Bloodsuckers' health and enemies' detection cones, could have been addressed with more testing. However, the technical problems are a major concern. The constant crashing and instability significantly impact the overall experience. While the game's ambitious scope and challenging environment are commendable, the current state, especially at the full price point, leaves much to be desired.
All those thing you said are absolutely true, but tis game is still awesome! Pure STALKER experience, like the old games. Have you ever tried the original triology?
I'm glad you found the video funny. Guess the game just isn't for me it really pissed me off . I tried expressing my feelings in a light and entertaining way, not to rage bait anyone.
Yeah dude, go play fallout which are all trash since bethesda makes them but for you nuka cola & power armor = fallout while the writing, the franchise gets more braindead with each title.
just spend the 20 minutes to download some mods. fixes most of the complaints here, enable frame generation and nvidia low latency, there you go, solid 120+ frames. at least for me, it doubled my frames. both with mods, frame gen, and just going through and optimizing the settings. runs great, plays great. also, not sure if youre around for every other game launch ever but this just came out last week lol its not going to be perfect. every game lately launches like this, if anything, stalker launched better than what most do.
But why sell a game for 60$ and fix it later? If everyone else does it, it doesn't make it ok. Even without the technical issues the game feels rushed and untested.

I was surprised too, this is my honest opinion about the game and I'm getting a lot of flame here lol, it is what it is.

This is my first Stalker game and I have to say that this game is fucking awesome. I'm having a blast playing it.

Best game i have played for years , 8/10 current state
The best game you played in YEARS is an 8/10 game?

Well spoken! It's all about personal preference. If S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was 40-30$ it would be much more acceptable, but I still wouldn't like it :D

Hint: You are not supposed to fight a mob of rats or a pack of dogs. You get nothing from killing mutants, just waste of ammo
theres a mod for that now
They made enemies too sponge at least in Fallout first few hours you swimming in caps
dam 52 deaths a couple hours in is crazy i just hit 30 and im done with the game
I'm playing with a Dance Dance Revolution Dance Pad for Playstation2
