    Thank very much Sarika for this most important topic I really need to know...especially paint consistency!! Some paints I've purchased are quite thick and even when I add the acrylic medium, its still not the right one as you showed in your video!! Is there a ratio of medium and paint that I should follow? Thank you so much for your reply❤💕🌹

      @@KraftariabySarika Thank you so much!!!!. I'll definitely try this method and try to see if I could get it to the consistency of pancake batter. Probably, I'm just not doing it right! A video on this subject is highly appreciated!😊😊

      you can use any normal eraser. if the marks still doesn’t go you can paint on top of the lines again with the base colour with thin brush.

  • @acanadianislandgirl1187

    Is it ok to to use acrylic emulsion instead of medium? Does the acrylic paint peel off of the mugs?

    • @KraftariabySarika

      Emulsion paint should be good. If the paint is dried properly and cured in oven it doesn’t peel off.

    I'm loving your videos! Thank you for sharing your gifts! My question is, what is the thinnest tool that you use for the swooshes? Does the typical smallest pink tool work or is that ceramic tool I have seen you use work best? Thank you! Kiki :-)

    • @KraftariabySarika
      @KraftariabySarika  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your kind words. I feel that thin needle tool works best for dragging the dots and making it in any shape. You can use a thin sewing needle or a pin and tape it on a toothpick. That homemade tool also works great.

      May I continue to pick your brain? What sealant do you use on coffee mugs? Is it still safe for the microwave or dishwasher? Do you put the sealant only on the outside so it isn't actually inside the mug?

      @KraftariabySarika  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your all questions are answered in this video. Personally I don’t feel like washing the dot painted mugs in dish washer. They can be easily washed with hands.th-cam.com/video/dC81cOWkS8k/w-d-xo.html

  • @darianchristie3260

    I think I prefer my paint to be a little thinner to you. Also I just use water to thin them. Also instead of using a stencil you could just use a ruler and compass and white charcoal pencil and draw lines, although I do like the way you showed to make a simple stencil just with paper. For dotting tools I use about 10 crochet hooks of different sizes that have flat ends, plus a pencil and two bits of dowel and a lip balm stick lid for the biggest circle. I've seen people hot-glue a small coin to a stick for a big circle.

    Hello ma'am... Just a query... Can I add water to adjust consistency??

    • @KraftariabySarika
      @KraftariabySarika  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can add little water for making the paint smooth but you can get cracks if you add too much water and your dots will not be shiny. One more alternative is to mix a drop of glue with a drop of water and add that to your paint.
