I haven’t bowled in about 12 years now when my bowling sidekick, my momma, passed away and watching your videos really brought me back into it recently. Love Darrens analogy of how to define yourselves. Im standing far left hooking the hell out of any ball, but ive also got a 20 mph average speed. So sounds great
I switched to two handed because I started suffering from tennis elbow too and didn’t feel the pain bowling that way. I think you should do it too!
The 900 Global Xponent looks like a good as a benchmark. I bowl right handed and stright and high rev rate dominate. One reason why I use urethane ball a lot. Been looking for a good benchmark ball. Maybe the Xponent would be good.
I always love watching Darren’s videos. The Xponent looks good but, I still prefer the Zen he’s throwing. That’s always a great looking ball.

I swear every time i see a ball video like this I go buy it lol, my ball room is full with a bunch of boxs, bags, equipment, and of course a bunch of bowling balls. I drilled like 5 balls in one day just because of couple videos because I wanted to try these 2 handed
I developed Elbow issues as well until I got my span shortened. Only flares up once in a while now and never while I'm bowling anymore.

Solid ball review….the more Xponent reviews I see, the less I want to add that ball to my arsenal.
Made the switch to 2-handed this summer…constant thumb issues was the driving factor. Also, enjoy throwing 2-handed over the traditional method.

Hey dtang long shot asking for advice here not sure youll see it. Im a two handed bowler who started last year and still learning the ropes here in australia. Ive noticed that i have a high rev rate and i was wondering what a good ball for me on tough lanes would be as i tend to throw the bowl from left to right and it still goes brooklyn or even in the gutter... im using an iq tour ruby at the moment.
My bowling coach has a solution to all those thoughts I have in my head... He just tells me "Shut Up and Bowl!" Hahaha... He's not wrong that's for sure.

I don’t own a single 900 Global ball but this one might change that. And if you’re ever in Ohio I’ll challenge you to a two handed match! I think from what I’ve seen you’d be a great two hander. Glad the elbow is feeling better too!

Daren I think you’d be so good two handed. Another thing, I think you could be more comfortable and I think it’s fair to say the easier things are for you the better.

I’m very rev dominant and throw around 12-15mph. Not sure if I need this or the Phaze II as my benchmark ball.

Hey darren i just got the Columbine 300 Messenger. Can you do a ball review or juat tell me what you think about the ball. Its 14lbs

Well, I threw a Messenger ball a few years back when I was rolling with 16lbs. It was good as long as I maintained 17mph / 350rpm. No complaints. 214 avg with that ball.
I need to train then beacuse i can only roll around 14mph. Im just now starting to bowl like taking it as a hobby.

I’m a fan of having a big bag of balls, but isn’t it confusing? Way too many balls. I’d pick 2-3 balls tops. But you’re the pro.
