Morton & Back

The first time Tom and I went flying together in our own aircraft.
My lightweight Sub70 has a top speed of circa 43 mph in straight and level flight. Tom's 2-seater has a top speed of 110 mph and struggles to fly slower than 50 mph so flying both aircraft together is a bit awkward.
Tom circles my Sub70 making a number of passes in order to stay with me.
The weather was lovely and above 1200 feet, the air was nice and smooth at 9am. Closer to the ground, however, it was already becoming quite thermic and bumpy.
In case you're wondering, my parents live in Morton and they had hinted a few times that it would nice to see me fly over the fields, which they back onto. ;-)
