BUL Armory is an Israeli gunmaker and my favorite in the world! I own 5 BUL Armory guns, and every one of them is top-notch. Although that BUL Armory Cherokee that you looked at is quite a bit overpriced at $650, because you can find them online for sub $300! While I don't personally own a Cherokee, I have fired one, and its trigger is better than that of the CZ 75 and the CZ P-07, as it is a polymer CZ 75 clone. If you ever come across a BUL Axe or any of their 1911s or 2011s, you should pick them up on principle...
Congratulations on hitting 10,000 , always enjoy your videos. Went to a show a weeks ago , picked up a ruger security six 357 . Got for a very nice price and it doesn't have all the warnings on the barrel like the later ones. Good luck and stay safe on your journeys
One thing I will say about Tauras is whether you love or hate them, you can't take away their excellent customer service. You know how it is like you have to wait two hours on the phone just to get a simple answer? Tauras always has someone on the phone to take the issue you may have on their firearms. Someone I know bought a used Tauras and its lifetime guarantee. It had a jamming issue, and Tauras told him to send it to them, and they gave him a brand-new gun. Great service they have

The Detonics is the first successful Comercial compact 1911 manufacturer. They function flawlessly. They are the Lamborghini of 1911s. They manufactured several different models. Definitely a must have for diehard 1911 enthusiasts. Side note in the book series The Survivalist by Jerry Ahern the main character John Rourke carried two Detonics combatmasters. Jerry Ahern brought the Detonics company back in the 2000s can't remember the exact years.

I went Saturday morning and got in just before the start of the run. Sunday I sat on Lawrence street for 20 minutes waiting to get across Second street. Got into an empty show at 10am. Someone said the run was over at 10. The run might have been over for a lot of people but there’s always stragglers on a run. Traffic still sucked. I left at 10:45 after picking up what I missed on Saturday. Usually the place is packed. Not this weekend

The closed off area for those runners ends at the entrance of the gun show at Lawrence St. at 2nd St. The other option from Hwy 94 is to take 4th Street west until you come onto Lawrence St. The entrance will be directly in front of your car. PS: This building is where final assembly of amphibious Alligators took place during WWII. You spent far too much time looking al all that newer stuff!

First, congratulations on 10k subscribers! As stated abov, pricing was generally ridiculously expensive. Saw some ecent prices but mainly high pricing. Am wonderiing if vendors are worrying that they will be constricted on selling if election oges to Democrats? Perhaps trying to squeeze more $$ out of panic buyers same as during the riots and coivd. 5:14 the Detonics was a decent early compact 1911. Another poster stated it well. 5:36 Remington-Rand is the name of the company. They were a WWII government contractor for 1911s. Very prolific also, one of th mot common WWII 1911s. That one was outragous at double the price of Remington Rands. 6:00-7:44 Some nice Colts but again overpriced. 8:32 that was a ruger 10/22 not a 10/25. Maybe bad penmanship on tag? 27:42 BUL Armory. Israeli manufacturer. Started as a relatively inexpensive mfgr of decent carry firearms (Cherokee et al) but has evolve into upper mid tier carry and competition firearms. Wishing you safe travels th next couple of weeks. One idea you may or may not want to explore is a meetup after shows at a local place (watering hole, restaurant, bar & grill etc) if you have time.
Well, I was literally asked to do both. And I did, but as you note I worked, so the vlog (back now) is the trip there, views of damage, and opening the trailers at our supply point...cause I worked at 2k elevation and can't vlog and work. If I cared about money, I wouldn't spend $$$$ gun tubing, there is no money in what I do.

It was a good show, a real gun show, even though I saw tables selling laundry detergent?!?!. Lot more customers Saturday.

As stated abov, pricing was generally ridiculously expensive. Saw some ecent prices but mainly high pricing. Am wonderiing if vendors are worrying that they will be constricted on selling if election oges to Democrats? Perhaps trying to squeeze more $$ out of panic buyers same as during the riots and coivd.
5:14 the Detonics was a decent early compact 1911. Another poster stated it well.
5:36 Remington-Rand is the name of the company. They were a WWII government contractor for 1911s. Very prolific also, one of th mot common WWII 1911s. That one was outragous at double the price of Remington Rands.
6:00-7:44 Some nice Colts but again overpriced.
8:32 that was a ruger 10/22 not a 10/25. Maybe bad penmanship on tag?
27:42 BUL Armory. Israeli manufacturer. Started as a relatively inexpensive mfgr of decent carry firearms (Cherokee et al) but has evolve into upper mid tier carry and competition firearms.

Well, I was literally asked to do both. And I did, but as you note I worked, so the vlog (back now) is the trip there, views of damage, and opening the trailers at our supply point...cause I worked at 2k elevation and can't vlog and work.
If I cared about money, I wouldn't spend $$$$ gun tubing, there is no money in what I do.
I'll be cutting video this afternoon (at work now) you will see it ain't about $$$ at all. I was worried about the optics of this as well, but I wasn't worried at all about what I would actually be doing vs the optics of 'vlogging'

@@BeardedLlama alot of destruction. no trace of the Federal Government. FEMA came day one, handed checks out and left per the locals. My POC in the mountains said they had one tense standoff day one, but FEMA has no authority so then after they handed out the $750 checks they just left.
