I have one of these. So far I've broken the battery tray twice, bent the chassis brace twice. So upgraded the chassis brace with an ADU unit. Solved that problem. Ran into a toe issue. Too much toe in. Stock links are non adjustable. So installed Arrma Typhon toe links. Solved that problem. Bent the ackerman arm again. So upgraded the ackerman to a Team Corally 7075 version. But bent that again. Bent the front knuckle toe ends. I don't have these issues with my Typhon. I'm not sure why the front steering tends to bend everything so much. But I will say no diff failures. No cv and or axle failures. No shock tower bends. No shock stand off failures. Had one front arm failure. But that was my fault. Overall I prefer the Asuga. I've beat the crap out of the Asuga. And I did bend the chassis. But while driving it you couldn't notice. It just kept going. I'm currently upgrading the chassis to that one.
Like #200! Kicking out an ex car of a BMX track is just silly especially if no one is around. Maybe if it was a big 1/5 scale car then I could understand people say it would damage the track. Hopefully you will be able to go back 👍
Looks like an awesome buggy. I want one but not in a huge rush since I already have the TLR, Asuga, and Syncro4. Plus, I love the Asuga so much I think I prefer the "XL" buggies to the normal ones now.
Awesome Run buddy and love the look on the spark , that combo thats in the buggy is a real power house for sure . Shame that you got asked to leave , you have been going there for ages . Have they asked you to not come back ? Stay awesome dude and keep up the awesome work . Chris :)
Great review as always. Opening with a detailed spec evaluation and then a test drive. I like it... I want one. I haven't owned a RC car since I was about 15 in the 1980s when I had a pbr mini mustang with the 2 speed clutched gearbox! No lipos in sight those days, nicads were as good as it got!!
We need more dedicated RC tracks . I’m going to talk to my local officials and tell them . They ll say kids will break bones . They ll do it anyways in the middle of the street with the cars if they don’t have a place for RC cars and bmx
Where is this? Looks like a fun place to play. Have you tried the Pleasanton BMX park? Next time you go out there, take a shovel and a garden sprayer. Tell them you're doing maintenance.
The wires linking the esc and the motor ran across the centre brace do you have to unwired every time you wana reach something? Looks a little messy is there no way they make it look pretty?
Why would they ask you to leave when there's no one else there and a little RC buggy ain't going to do any damage that a 200 pound guy on a bmx /mountain bike would do.. Love the vids mate..
Who was that? The park owner? The BMX park owner? A park police? If it's none of them, then that Ken can kiss where the sun don't shine. Here in Texas, I've only gotten into arguments a couple of times with Kens trying to tell me that I had to leave the park. Park police have NEVER said anything to me. They just wave. Why would he kick you out when there was NO ONE there? It's not like you are causing damage with a little RC. Some people people are just MISERABLE. Anyways, nice run. I love my Syncro 4 other the Quickrun system and Mojave tires. I've been beating it up and I haven't broken anything yet, except the stock ESC and a bit of damage to the body. That's why I prefer to use ramps away from everyone.
City park employee. Most of the damage at this BMX park is caused by RC drivers who can't drive and smash their cars into everything, including the jumps. I think that guy has to fix them every month. If you watch my videos through the years, they keep having to redo the jumps because they get beat to hell. For sure there is way damage caused by RC cars, you can tell by how much dirt is kicked up everywhere as opposed to a biker who hardly causes any dust.
@@RazorRC Fair enough. Like I mentioned before, I'm just a basher, so big ramps, small ramps away from everyone is my thing 👍. You should go more often to the top of those hills where there's no one there 👍
That’s a more appropriate place for RC’s I’ve seen RC’s ripping around baseball infields & I’m just thinking someone is going to be mad because the infields have to be maintained but so do dirt bmx jumps I know that those particular type of jumps with the hard packed dirt are not easy to make or maintain it’s not a matter of there’s no one using it it a maintenance issue. I’ve never had negative comments about crawlers but it seems like the faster bashers is what people will make a negative comment. I had someone complain I was making dust & getting their car dirty & it was mostly in a paved area in a park & not a lot of people out. I’m extremely picky now about where I bash because I’m just trying to enjoy being out with the RC’s that’s why we have them. 👍
next time ask them for the policy/rules stating no rc cars allowed ( if it is a public park funded by the people that pay into taxes you have every right to be there ) ......i had a similar situation and i challenged the head park ranger ( nyc ) to show me their policy/rules ........their walk of shame was golden and a win
That's such a shame... yeah, whether it's a legal prohibition or just a policy, in the UK at least, there needs to be a sign broadly stating no RCs on the track for them to kick you out. Otherwise, the only arguments they can make are safety concerns over others also using the track and noise pollution. But still... there was nobody else there and you were causing no harm or damage 🤷♂️🤦

Wow, I really like this rig, especially in a roller. Disappointed Arrma are dropping rollers. Not sure if that is completely true, but yea, lame if so. Sweet run. Being an ex-BMX racer, I really can't see how an RC could destroy a track more than a bike with a 100+lb person. You must have been in the way of that massive crowed of people around you.🙄
It's a liability issue. If 1 person can play, everyone can play? Not fair, I agree, just imagine a youngster taking a 6S ebuggy to their leg, body or worse. Unrelated but, I've witnessed a teenager completely destroy an RC club track built at our county fairgrounds with a pit bike in a few minutes.

Would be really sad if you're aren't allowed to come back to the track at all. To prevent something like this i ask the owners of the properties i drive on for allowance in advance. So no other has the authority to kick me out.
Like the look in general, chassis layout etc… but I just can’t get behind that hectic paint scheme. Looks like my 3 year old’s toy cars form the dollar store. But that’s an industry/personal subjective issue
