Good list but missing my all time most shafted EZA whenever I make these lists, Phy Full Power Frieza. Here's my overly long reasons why: First, just for reference for those who weren't there as to the meta at the time of his EZA, agl SS4 vegeta came out in a year and a half before FPF EZA'd, and had a non-conditional +120% atck and +120 defense, a debuffing effect on his SA, and a 30% chance to negate and counter any super attack. So, its been almost 2 years since 120/120 and an extra effect on SA and passive, was the standard, we're arguably well past that now from power creep. FPF's original kit was, being from 2016, was very simple, no effect on his SA, +120% atk when supering, That was actually a decent amount of attack for 2016, and having no defense wasn't considered the issue it was by the time of his EZA. Logically he'd need to at least be brought up to 120% defense baseline, then probably have that attack buffed to reflect what would be high in the current meta, maybe 150%. Throw in some sort of SA effect and your done, he's comparable to the almost 2 year old SS4 vegeta so not exactly setting the world on fire, but he's usable again. What they'd do instead? Well they gave him a decent SA effect, +30% defense, but as for his passive, they give him... absolutely nothing. Well that's not entirely true. They added text which said: If you put him and his 0% defense in slot 1, and some how you don't die from the attacks from the left, he gets +3 ki and +30% defense from the attacks on the right of slot 1 and probably still die as 30% is terrible at this point in the meta. Put him anywhere else, and he's just his same 2016 version with 30% defense on his SA. Even more annoying was every other EZA from his batch massively improved them from their 2016 version. Just to use one example, SS3 goku got an improved SA effect (since he already had one), a non-conditional start of turn +70% defense over his original , and roughly +120% more attack (+20% in the passive, and his SA got improved from supreme to immense which is an extra 100% damage modifier) Even if FPF's new passive hadn't been conditional, it still would have been a huge let down, +30% defense and some ki he rarely needed left him WAY below the DFE standard set, again, a year and a half ago with SS4 Vegeta. But making so that it only worked in slot 1, and only activated after attacking, on a unit with 0% defense prior to attack... TLDR: FPF, when the meta he EZA'd in is considered, is still mind blowingly bad even to this day.
whats funny is phy SV could have had 50% start of turn atk and def buff and he would be soo good, whats worse is he released alongside str super buu eza which was one of the best TURs once he released.
The really sad thing to me is that phy SV was arguably still the most usable of the 2 by virtue of STR Super Buu having very limited use cases when he dropped. You either had a fully rainbowed Majin Power team and you could play him, or he was practically unusable. And now that he finally has a workable team, he himself has aged out making him not unrunnable yet, but very dangerous.
This video is for dokkanfest units and LRs. However the worst EZA ever will always be kid buu. Up to his release every single EZA was actually usable in the relative modes at the time (SBR more notably and some EZAs when category leads were limited). He was the first DOA EZA
Nah, Phy Full Power Frieza’s EZA was DOA, arguably even more than Kid Buu. For reference, the EZA gave defense on super which was good (his SA effect actually has me excited for the SEZA) and 30% defense after attacking as the first attacker in the turn, and that was it. The defense still wasn’t enough to tank by that time in the game, either, it was worse than AGL SSJ4 Vegeta who released a year and a half before the EZA for FPF and was already falling off defensively

Hope str android 21 is on this list. All they did for her eza was essentially swap her passives around on her two forms. She was such a let down on her eza
The only one i could disagree is PHY Super Vegito, yes he could have been made an monster, however he is still runnable on non STR events (which almost every difficult fight has sadly) as long he does not get supered in slot 3 or 2, compared to everyone else in the ranking who straight up weren't capable to be brought to their respective difficult event release. My suggestion in his spot would be PHY SSJ Vegeta, he appeared when every difficult event was very short even for 55% units (turn 4-6) so transforming all of the way to Blue was never something that would happen, therefore u never saw his good part of the kit like Super Trunks.
I don’t know if he’d make the cut, but HM to STR Janemba’s eza. I remember when he dropped everyone was saying he was a flop and that he was worse than INT Janemba. Many players expected STR to be just as dominant as INT was when he dropped but was only just decent in comparison 😢
Irrelevant unit but I remember they gave LR STR Goku Black (Zamasu) an EZA as soon as he dropped. Could've waited until last year when Future Saga was popping off
He was the first LR EZA in the game as well. They did it for 5th anni as well, such a missed opportunity to do LR TEQ SSJ Goku, would've been much more appropriate. Instead they had no mainline EZAs for the anni and ruined a unit in the process.

Agl bardock still hurts me the most since im a bardock fan and always loved his animations and thought he'd get better because he was on soo many categories, he had hella potential but got downplayed
Putting phy Vegito above Jiren and golden frieza is crazy, at least Vegito is invincible to everything but supers Jiren was useless on release and even got destroyed in the ESBR he was made for

Honestly out of this list I feel like the only true shaft is INT Goku Black and STR Jiren. I won’t argue that the others you name couldn’t have been better. But at the time of their release units like INT Gohan and that AGL LR Majin Vegeta for example was useable during the time of the meta they was in. And I feel like that’s all anyone should expect out of a EZA. To not be crazy dominant units but to be an option to fill out a team.

LR Kale and Caulifla deserved so much better, not only did they get hurt hard by their EZA but this unfortunate hurt my favourite Dokkan fest ever which is AGL Kale. I was so sad with their EZA…

TEQ Future Trunks should be here too. He’s on a meta where bosses are INT. After 9th anniversary, INT Goku Black stacks faster than Trunks since there’s super type and enemies now can be attack debuff
I know it's mentioned in these comments, but release EZA units suck. Whenever a unit gets an EZA on release, it basically locks it immediately. Whenever they do this, I can't help but think they hold back and make a unit suck just so they can EZA. Why not just make the EZA the regular kit and still have an EZA option later? Make it make sense.
It's pretty sad that the only 2024 eza in the list is the only 2024 eza that's actually mid, every other unit was treated with some type of respect (even super vegeta can do damage and sustain hits for a couple turns) but yeah, Bardock was a comolete shaft (Also noted you said Jiren was the most recent one but it's Bardock by a 6 month margin on JP)
I'd probably swap agl bardock and phy sv with str janemba and lr str fp frieza, janemba wasn't not much of an upgrade from the int one and it's hella disappointing with str full power frieza i believe he eza around the same time as the release of agl lr full power frieza and the performance between the two isn't even close and those are probly the 2 i can think of for now gotta see through my box to remember how some of these eza were at the time lmao

there's no way int goku black is better unit than phy super vegito. Both die to supers but goku black is more recent and he also dies to normals. Although he doesnt even contribute to the team neither unless you transform and that's not consistent at all. Outside of that, great vid my man, keep going

What did we learn? The base kit should be for the content on release and the peak of the unit dictates its longevity Dont want the unit to last 6 months? Just make the max not that high above base

@@aceallstar6112Generally speaking units who die to supers make up for it through their damage or support. Vegito does none of those things. He will definitely age well but he also will never be a *good* option because he brings nothing of value to the table outside of tanking normals. And whereas a damage dealer can kill the boss before they can get supered, Vegito *has* to take whatever comes his way, increasing the risk of him dying.

@@aceallstar6112Outside of AoE attacks almost every modern non-dodge unit can take normals. If they can’t then you shouldn’t run them. Vegito isn’t a fumble because he’s bad like STR Jiren, he’s a fumble because he does the bare minimum to be runnable and consequently is only worth running if you have nothing better. Give him literally anything (damage, support, scouter) on top of what he has now and be would be viewed in a more positive light.

@@aceallstar6112Generally speaking units who die to supers make up for it through their damage or support. Vegito does none of those things. He will definitely age well but he also will never be a *good* option because he brings nothing of value to the table outside of tanking normals. And whereas a damage dealer can kill the boss before they can get supered, Vegito *has* to take whatever comes his way, increasing the risk of him dying.
@@shivashiham7880 ok fair point, but at the same time, why would you want a damage dealer who dies to normals? And im not saying vegito is like top EZA or anything, im saying he wasn't a fumble
@@aceallstar6112Outside of AoE attacks almost every modern non-dodge unit can take normals. If they can’t then you shouldn’t run them.
Vegito isn’t a fumble because he’s bad like STR Jiren, he’s a fumble because he does the bare minimum to be runnable and consequently is only worth running if you have nothing better. Give him literally anything (damage, support, scouter) on top of what he has now and be would be viewed in a more positive light.
