Taapsee on Amitabh Bachchan

On her work equation and the rapport she shares with veteran Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee had this to say: "I was just trying to make the most out of every opportunity without ever having a dream of making it big in Bollywood. And with Mr Amitabh Bachchan, I remember the first day (shoot) was so petrifying just because I had built this whole facade in my head of everyone telling you that you are working with Mr Bachchan.
The first day of basic shot of sleeping was not getting okayed in two takes because my eyelids were fluttering and I just couldn't keep my eyes shut. I was so anxious attached, knowing Mr. Bachchan was around. It took me one day to tell myself that you had to switch off that button that this is Mr. Bachchan and work with him like a co-star. And then from that day, I've never switched on that button again. So a lot of people who see me with him now always end up asking me, how are you so. I don't really treat him like the Mr. Bachchan. Because, I switched off that button back then and it has really helped me build that chemistry." Taapse was speaking at CII Delhi eConclave ‘Building Delhi for a New World
