Two New Cancun All Inclusive Resorts for 2024 - {Ava Resort vs Marriott All-Inclusive Cancun}

There are two highly anticipated upscale family friendly all-inclusive resorts in Cancun opening in early 2024. Because of their similarity in quality, future brides and grooms are already interested in comparing the two for their destination wedding. Ava Resort has the upper hand when it comes to swimming pools but Marriot Cancun wins in the beach category.

I would only stay in the Hotel Zone if a nice beach with that amazing turquoise water is important to you. I have only stayed in one Riviera Maya resort (Hyatt Ziva Riviera May) and the beach was pretty nasty. Brownish water and a lot of sargassum. I am looking forward to staying at this newly renovated Marriot. We usually stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun but are looking to make a change.

Marriott will have an amazing beach for sure. Luckily sargasso hardly came last year so Hyatt Ziva has been beautiful. I would also look at the Secrets Playa Blanca when that opens soon.
