    Thank you for making this! It's the best roadmap I've seen in a looooooong time 🙂

      Wow, thanks! I'm not experienced with them but just wanted to show the "design" aspect of it ;)

    Red, Amber, Green is so called RAG which is the status of delivery, budget etc. You can't do any random colours. Quite a few good tips though.

      Awesome hint, thank you. Sure I understand, but as you imagine this was more of a conceptual tutorial for people who can't handle the design-side of things :) The rest is just painting

    I think the original colours were based on the London Underground map colours...they seem to work ok.

    Thank you for this - your designs always inspire me.
    I'm wondering is there a specific reason you use Ctrl-C + Ctrl-V instead of Ctrl-D?

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, awesome to hear and I'm glad that I can inspire you in any way! Haha no, there is no specific reason apart from personal preference and a habit of pressing them in quick succesion, I like the click of that :D

    This was really helpful to me, I just created a roadmap for myself. If possible could you please let me know how to fetch the color schemes and use it in the ppt like you did?
    Thanks

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Manohar, well that is pretty simple, just go to aaaaany website with "color schemes" like colorhunt.io, adobe color.com , coolors.co, find any color scheme you like, press PRT SCR on your keyboard and press CTRL+V inside of powerpoint. Boom, the screenshot of the colors is inside powerpoint already, now you can simply Crop this screenshot to only show your colors. You can alternatively download the color scheme you like as a PNG and just drag & drop it into PowerPoint :)

    • @manoharreddy6907
      @manoharreddy6907 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, found some color schemes to work with. Thank you for the reply.

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure thing, color schemes are amazing, you can also craete them out of great photographs there are websites which "extract" the colors form a photo, really spnedid :)

    This is a nice tutorial. Would you have the ppt to share by any chance?

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes of course, lemme send it over via filedroper and add it to the description.

  • @nikhilps3691

    This guy has no idea on RAG ratings

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm just showing a design example not a rag rating with red and green gradient. What problem would be to adjust the design to your needs? The most important takeway here is to learn how to properly use powerpoint and then adapt to whatever you need!

      Nice Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you researched - Weydaniel Organized Dominator (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one off guide for getting 7000 plus project management and business templates without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my good mate called Gray after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.
