I always thought that all C!Wilbur needed was someone to comfort him, someone who'd stick around. Both C!Tommy and C!Ranboo were those people for him. Now that C!Ranboo's dead he only has one person who he can really rely on and trust. He isn't a bad person, he just wants to make the most of life but he gets so caught up in his past that he ends up doing stupid and often villainous things. This is a good portrail of how I thing C!Wilbur is. Well done

I mean if you were just trapped in a train station for 13 and a half years when you're finally freed your first thought isn't going to be "okay I need to make sure my friends are okay". You're going to want to scream and cry and punch and do anything and everything you can because you're not sure if this is just some kind of lucid dream sh*t and need something to tell you that you're alive, you're here, you're now. Wilburs reaction is completely natural at that point.

Yo this is incredible! The emotion really comes through here, and those COLORS- Also, I’ve never seen an interpretation of the sixteenth like that- where Tommy finds Wilbur after the fact, as if he needed to check for himself if what he saw (Philza stabbing Wilbur) was real. And “you took away my friend” switching from meaning taking away Wilbur to taking away ghostbur, in a way, and then seeing the revived Wilbur kinda taking away both? Since he’s not the man he was before he died, but not ghostbur, either. It’s really neat, I love how you put this all together.
OML- OKAY WAIT, YOU ACTUALLY NAILED WHAT I WAS TRYING TO PORTRAY IN THIS ANIMATIC, IM SCREAMING I realized that too!! We never really got to see how Tommy really reacted to Wilbur’s death, and just the absolute shock he must have been I. That he needed to see it all for himself in order for him to realize and process that Wilbur was truly dead, and that he did go through with his plan in the end. AND THEN YES, I wanted to get across the idea that especially initially when Wilbur was revived, Tommy really was rather angry and upset because I think he really preferred Ghostbur, who didn’t have any of the negative nature of Wilbur from before. But then yes!! Also the fact that he was a bit crazed and unaware of the effect of his own actions I think until the point where he is responsible for Ranboos death in the Wilbur Van Arc- IM SO HAPPY AHHH ❤️❤️ Thank you so so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it!! ❤️❤️ I had a lot of fun with this project, and it’s so cool to see that you were able to get what I was trying to get at with the video?? ❤️❤️
Oooooooo I love the “rose colored glasses” Wilbur has on at the end rose colored glasses are a common analogy for ignoring red flags or red flags in general. In the new lore he talks about how “he wasn’t thinking” he didn’t see the riskes he was so focused on revenge and messing with quackity he didn’t see all the red flags He was looking through the rose colored glass.
Loving the detail that the wind blowing after the explosions and Wilbur's death is the same wind that occurs when Wilbur returns. Such a powerful and important detail.

I really thought the ending of Hitting on 16 really emphasized the climax almost of Wilbur’s character? Like it’s the moment where he really begins to notice and understand the effects of his actions, so I really thought that tied in with his initial actions before that too :) AND AHH THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️❤️ I had a lot of fun with this one I think playing around with face expressions and colours to really emphasize the mood and emotions they were going through, so Im glad it worked!! :D Im going to work on the next one animatic though with anatomy and perspective and backgrounds, so Im excited for that!! :) AND YES- I honestly was going to make this just a uncoloured short animatic, but I kept getting more and more invested, and we got this?? I’m so happy that you all liked this one, it was a ton of fun :)!!

Well,this is such a great thing. The colours. How will and Tommy's bond went through ups and downs until Wilbur become slowly insane. Ghostbur is different maybe because he is amnesiac ghost and the fact treated tommy like Wilbur before he became insane. Now,Wilbur has been revived by dream and being the man who blew up l'manburg. The man who used to be such a father,a man with words and the politician of our country. Now,he's just the man who worship dream like a hero and annoyed quackity. He used to be envied by many and now he's hates by many.

I'm so upset that I had to miss the premiere, but at least I'm here 30 minutes later. This is one of my favourites of your art so far. Of course, I love them all, but it's amazing to see how much you've improved. The backgrounds and colours look amazing! It's cool so see that much detail in the animatic.
