I have an idea for this.
Have it be more strict with players you can pick.
Like you can have two players in their 90's, as long as their accumulate total is 190 overall. For example: one at 99 & one at 91.
Then do the same for 80 overalls but for 3 players that accumulate to 255 points.
Then you can have a 6th man that can be an 83 overall + whatever remaining points that you hadn't used from the 90 or 80 overalls points.
Say you only used 187 points for the 90 & 253 for the 80 section. That would allow you to pick a 6th man who can be an 88 overall.
Then the remaining bench can be 79's at max.
I think that makes for a fun game challenge.
