Today we took the show on the road to Somerset County in Pennsylvania to meet with Brendon Rawlings the Master Distiller of Ponfeigh Distillery. Ponfeigh Distillery may be one of many new distilleries popping up all over the country, but they took there time and did it right encompassing that rich heritage and love for whiskey. Ponfeigh reclaims Western Pennsylvania's roots as the birthplace of American whiskey.
Brendon showed us first hand the time and love they pour into this whiskey while sharing a few drinks and stories of being the Master Distiller for Ponfeigh Distillery.
Dan's favorite while we were there was the Cask Strength Single Barrel while Jason broke his wallet by buying as many bottles as he could of the limited release that can only be bought at the distillery of the Founders Edition.
