Didn't have the 1 thing I needed which is a step by step to remove the door panel. It does however have almost every hack job way of installing a speaker. DON'T snip your wires, buy a proper harness. Don't drill new holes unless you ABSOLUTELY have to, buy adapter rings instead. Lastly don't install your new speaker's grill under the OEM built in grill, you're only going to create added UNWANTED vibrations to muddy your sound quality.
How exactly do you remove the wires from the old speaker? I can’t seem to unplug it in any way and I don’t want to cut any wires unless I absolutely have to.
You know they sell wire adapters for the speakers on eBay and Amazon, fairly low cost that way you don't have to snip the wires in case you ever want to go back to stock speakers. 🤷
Excellent Sir! Thanks for the how to on the Saturn Vue I literally just got into one of these vehicles yesterday, in extraordinarily great shape, but speakers done ,it’s a 2005 model. Have to decide now which speakers to get to replace the originals Any suggestions based on your experiences would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks again , Sir! Joe
GM speakers leave a lot to be desired. I used these speakers because they were given to me. You may want to remove the panel and check what size the speaker is. I think they were 5" but I don't recall at the moment. Be ready you may have to add a spacer between the door and the speaker so the window will go all the way down. These speakers just cleared in fact the window just kisses, ever so slightly, the back of these speakers when the window is rolled down. Thanks for watching and good luck with your install.
45 Alfa Charlie Papa , thanks again, will do, get the panel off and make sure the correct size is had. Love the vehicle, can’t wait to enhance the sound.
@@silkyjohnson3979 I picked up four of the round, either five or 6 inch speakers, Pioneer brand, from Walmart, and replaced each of the single speakers in the left front, right front, right rear and left rear door panels, and I am very happy with the quality of the audio that comes out of these Pioneer speakers. Sorry I don’t have the model number of them on hand, as I did not keep the box they came in.
I have a 2009 Saturn Vue. Stock are 6.75”. You can get the speaker adapters off most sites. I trust Crutchfield for my parts. They have a speaker adapter from Saturn Vue standard 6.75 to 6.5 (average standard front) for a reasonable price.
@@Vandal092 My advice after having done it, just cut out the speaker from the housing and the grill on the door and surface mount the new speakers with new grills...
+Manuel Ruiz It is held on by a spring clip at the top corner that you can pry off. the last screw you need to get the door panal off is under this cover.
@@45AlfaCharliePapa I took out all of the screws and tried prying and lifting and pulling. Is it different on the back door? I can't get the door panel off
I have to say the music is refreshing. most videos now a days have some shitty dubstep or crappy rap song about rims bitches and hoes. Great vid guy. I'll be subscribing .
45 ACP… I just got your channel name. Awesome!!

Thanks for watching.
The stereo was the reason I bought the cue, sure as hell wasn’t the gas mileage 😂
What size of speaker did you install?
6" thanks for watching.
Great shirt
I really appreciate this info! Very helpful! Thanks!
***** Thank You for watching, glad this helped.
No step by step on how to take the door off without breaking it
can u tell aprox how deep the hole is my new speakers have way bigger magnet
Roll window down to check for clearance. May need to use spacer from old speaker or make your own.
How'd you get the door handle through the plastic without removing the connecting rods
I just removed the plastic handle. Thanks for watching.

Do 6.5" speakers fit?
They might if you add some spacers and not mount them flush. Thanks for watching.

as you moved the small black mirror cover has a screw or can pull strong

This does not work for 2002-2008 Vues, need to look at "Removing Door Panels On A 2004 Saturn Vue"
Worked fine on my 2005. What issues are you having?
