    Can you make a speed comparence between the duc 353 and the duc306 ?

    Seems like the 12 inch bar would be the best choice for that saw. Great jacket!

    I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

    Hello , does the makita306z heat up during intensive use? I have a duc353z and after 5 minutes of non-stop use it heats up and goes into safety. which is very painful. knowing that my duc302 in intensive use does not cut to the end of the batteries. thank you so much

      Hi, thanks for your comment
      Yes. But only when in power mode. I've also had some problems with the saws you write about. I can usually fix the problem of removing the battery and reattaching to the saw Again. (probably not the right way to fix the problem). But that solves the problem.

    How many minutes of operation can i expect to get on the standard setting with two fully charged 5 amp hour batteries?

    • @vokstvst1957
      @vokstvst1957  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey.
      that's hard to say. It depends a lot on your cuts. I have dropped a 15 meter high birch tree and 14 meter fir tree on a set of 5 A battery. I plan on making a video that can show battery life.

      Well i bought one, them sent it back. Cant get wet! Vents at the back will collect water in the rain. Back to gas for me.

      Arborist Billy Harris Harris Well it is electric, I wouldn’t run any electric tool in the rain anyway. I got one and its a great option when it is dry and i want a lighter and quieter saw than my echo timberwolf

    Between DUR353 and DUR306, what do you recommend?

    • @vokstvst1957
      @vokstvst1957  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same cutting speed. It depends on whether you need to climb or use a saw on the ground.

    Hi and Thanks for the video. Do you know if this model 306 is the same compared to the model 256Z ?
    I can only find one different thing, the bar on the 256z is 25 cm compared to 30 cm on the 306z. Thanks again

    Do you have to use both batteries at the same time? Or would it run on one battery?

    Jolie machine. J aime aussi sa couleur.. une tronçonneuse est un outil simple. La boite ne
    m intéresse pas. Mais temps de travail. Poids. Vitesse chaîne. Tous ceux qui travillent avec
    Connaissent ces outils. Restez technique. PS. Elle me plaît. J achète.

    Iam just having a bad experience with my superb makita chain saw mines got the back handle and its a fantastic tool to keep in the van except I was using it on a wet day and water got in a small hole in the rubber on off switch and although I dried it right out no good. I've now had it looked at and told the on off button needs replacing at a cost of £192 for the part and £70to fit so apart from the disbaleaf of the repair costing more than it cost to buy iam gutted a 14 month old tool just aswel be ditched so please be aware of this when buying one.

      This makita has XPT technology to protect instrument from humidity. Have you had Makita and which model?

    Please tell me, many people in comments across internet told me one thing that is annoying with makita duc353. When you press power and u cut something, when you put it aside, after 5 seconds saw turns itself off, and you have to start it again constantly, if you are cutting something and moving cutted logs in same time. Can you start your chainsaw and put it aside to see, will it really turn itself off after 5 seconds. Why is this important for me ? - i am buying thiy chainsaw for my father. He is old and very very short tempered. If chainsaw will keep turning off after 5 seconds he will probably break it. I am very afraid he will break it cuz he has PTSD, he is war veteran. Thats why it matters to me so much. If its possible, please, can you do that test ?
