Unfortunately shortcuts do not have the same syntax and structure on a Mac, compared to shortcuts on an iPhone (e.g.: There is no go-to-home-screen on the Mac, but I found out it's not necessary) But I found out that the longer I try to generate some shortcuts and try some updates and extensions as well (and make a lot of errors), the better I become. So thanks a lot, John! One of the best tutorials I found in recent years! Very much appreciated. Keep on going, let's see what comes next. 👏

Apple will be expanding functionality of the whole Shortcuts framework and is encouraging developers to include shortcuts in their applications, so I think we’re going to see some cool features as time goes by.
I don’t think there is a action specific to a list item in notes. However, I have a note I named to do list that I have used as a simple task list and I made a shortcut to pull that note up so that I can add or or Check off items. If that will help, I’ll be glad to make a video about it. Thanks again for watching.

Is it possible to append or to create new note with checklist line with shortcuts? Do you plan to prepare video on that?
