Hi @@angelarambo72 yes i place the wood tiles directly on the patio floor but don't worry it has a plastic backing on it that has it sitting less then an inch off the floor. Hope that helped answer your question thanks for watching!

I’m in the process of redoing my patio and this is soooo similar to what I’m going for! How do you keep your plants alive? Mine keep dying 😩
Hi Rosethelourdes, if your looking to revamp your patio then I would definitely go for it you won’t regret it I love my balcony it’s probably my favorite spot in the house! Keeping plants alive can be tricky because there so many factors like the right lighting, the right amount of watering, your environment the type of plants all play a roll in keeping your plants alive and I do have a video coming in the near future on how I take care of my plants so stay toon! This looks so cute! Love it! ❤️ Definitely going to inspire my balcony makeover! One question - how do you protect the tiles and the floor underneath from rain and possible mold? I love the look and want to try it out but just concerned because rain water does drench half my balcony.. Thank you.
Hi Neeraja Jayaraman, I’ve had that tile on my balcony for over a year and haven’t had any issues with mold underneath the tile there’s a gap of maybe half an inch between the floor and the tile it’s not completely flush to the floor so it allows water to flow out also the wood tiles are made for the outdoors so it’s ok if it come across rain the only thing I would recommend is sealing the wood every few months I haven’t done so yet but I do plan on doing it in a few months I love these tiles it just transformed the whole vibe of my out door space you should definitely try it out if your really unsure if you should then just get one set to see how it reacts to your space before getting it completely done I hope this answers your questions and thanks for watching 🙂

I live in FL also and miss having real plants. It’s so hard to keep them watered and then to have to bring them in every year because of some hurricane maybes got to be to much for me. Even though I would still have to bring them in off my porch I wouldn’t have to worry about watering them or them dieing. Thanks for the inspiration and you did a beautiful job.

Love Love Love it. Beautifully done I wish I had a space like that to catch the sun drinking a cup of tea. The only thing I would add is the cushions for the seating on the floor. I would have circle cushions

Amazing! I'd probably stack the floor seats under the table until I had guests, just to add space but it's so beautiful. The table & flooring/pebbles are my favourite bits.

We’re on the same decorating ideas This year I bought Strip fabrics to cover my chairs and I have thick cushions so It’s taking me a minute to cover each chair. I did the grass walls and the floor is wood so it needs a coat of sealer on it . I have a grill and cattus plants out there since I’m in the south it’s out there year round . And I have wind chimes .🙋🏽♀️😀 it looks good.
