We have some minor differences, but overall these upcoming exam candidates in California should be grateful for your hard work putting all of these professional videos together. Can you please tell me the difference cause I can not find one good video for Georgia! Like do we do the lash portion and do we do the mask with the facial or microdermabrasion
I am not sure what the rules and regulations are in your state. Ask your instructors or you can go to your state board website and email them your questions in California they are good about answering back within a day or two

I was taught to have a dry towel and spray it with water over the trash to use as the “steam towel”. Are we still allowed to do that or do we need to have pre-dampened towels ? My test is in 3 days
Hi! I take mine in CA on the 17th. And I didn’t go to school in CA, so the practical was taught a different way to me. I’m wondering if the practical included things like blow drying, and nail sculpting, and facials when you took it! Thanks!!💕

Everything has changed since I graduated in 2013. I never passed the theory part and I got told I can do it again. But everything for the TN state board has changed. We never had to do the facial and manicure before. What can I use for the mock make up remover?
I was in the same situation but I was told I can only retake the theory once I pass it I can get my license I passed my practical back in 2012, I’m studying for theory test for next month
Huh here in Tn you have to pass the theory in order to go to the practical. I failed the theory twice in 2013 cause the questions were out of another book we didn't use.
You are correct at no time are you to pour product over clients face onto cotton or tissue as I demonstrated, the rest of the time I was trying to do things so the camera 🎥 would be able to view and record it. Thank you
Why are you putting on those products & sanitizer on your hand over the clients head? If it falls in her face then what? And why aren't you sanitizing your hands after throwing something in the garbage?
This is for the camera, so you the viewer can see what I’m doing, I am not touching the trash bag, therefore I am not contaminating my hands, if you have been taught to sanitize after you throw something away, that is also acceptable.
Isn’t the steamed towel supposed to be for the scrub removal? That’s how I was taught at SJCC but the cleanser was taught how you did it. Except for the bag on the table for the cotton , isn’t it supposed to just be on the table?
@@dianegallegos cotton balls I believe should be on the table and not in a small ziploc bag on the setup, that’s what I was taught. I will rewatch the 3 steamed towels, at SJCC we were taught one towel. But I was wondering if you know if our hand sanitizer can be a pump or if it should be a squeeze bottle? I love your videos they help so much ❤️
Yes, at some point you have to remove the cotton ball from the bag, in new exam the cotton balls are in the universe supplies, as you set up you can take them out of the bag. I am here to help but it is best to do it the way you have been taught

In Maryland every time we dispose of something we have to sanitize our hands. I think we have the cleanest hands in the state at this point!

It is always best to do it the way you are taught, are you taught to remove the cleaning cream and massage cream with tissue?

You shouldn’t have to retake the practical if you passed it, call your state board for TN and ask, it will save money and time
