The reason the Elcan doesn't adjust smoothly is because like the irl optic it's a prism sight with a rotating assembly to swap between a 1x and 4x prism. The reticle zooming in or not depends on whether the scope is a first focal plane or second focal plane optic.
Oh just a few tiny little things. The weight, and how usable is it when putting a rangefinder on top of the scope. The bender 1-8x is an excellent scope but weights nearly a kilo. The nightforce and the other 4-16 scope can be used really well with a rangefinder using the nightforce 34mm mount. Also just a piece of useless knowledge: if you load an AXMC with the exact loadout: pistol grip adpter with gral-s, no mount rails and accessories, geis 30mm mount with vudu or razor, the psr muzzle device with the ring (maximum ergo muzzle combo, not silenced), the kriss vector iron sights, 10 rounds of FMJ+1 in chamber. You will get a gun at exactly, 6.900kg
I Snipe some time and before i hated the 10x scopes but now i love them. The russian scopes for normal weapons (not only aks) are so good they have a good reticke, good magnification and they are so cheap
For me the razer will allways be the best scope for ar and snipers. It is completly clean line cross with a clear dot in the middle i snap to heads with it like no othsr scope
@@ronikuusela5055 way to out our self as being such a noob you dont know what sites have illumination. im on the wiki right now and have one ingame its a black cross with no illumination.
small detail but the Vudu loses 1 less ergo compared to the other 1-6x scopes. So I usually use the Vudu for day raids, and the Razor either for drip (plum color is cool) or for night raids because the Vudu’s illumination can be too much for NVGs.
I like the Elcan, but I wish you could skip the junk irons that are on top of it. I like to use an offset reflex sight for up-close fights, and it adds an extra step when swapping between them.
The irons aren’t even that bad, I just can’t use them because they somehow activate the actual PiP scope and drop my frames despite me not looking through the scope.
most of this is preference in the end. I'd gladly use half these scopes since its better than nothing, along using the Geis rings with a dot attached fixes the "too much base magnification" stuff
Great guide. I have a problem ingame that showed up since last wipe, for some reason when I use a double render scope I lose a lot of frames so thats why I've been running PSO scopes with a canted red dot to be able to fight at close range. I miss the days of being able to use LPVOs...
This wipe literally added slow adjusted zooming, it's granted that there are going to be videos discussing the scopes that could have benefited from this change
This is a game where things change often enough that the old guides are often flat out wrong information. It's a pain trying to track all the patch notes and then the there's BSG hidden updates on top of that.
A lot of info here patreon.com/DISTRUCT518

Preference stays Preference. But i think we can all agree that those changes are great and all of those are at least useable now.

I agree, just wish it had an illuminated reticle for night raids :(
@@zeph6182 im the opposite i dont like red on the sights at night
U guys dont even play the game vortex razor is illuminated

There is 1 other factor which is adjustment speed.. people prefer tac 30 over the rest of 1x-6/8x scopes bc it zooms way faster
Great video! Subbed and comment for the algorithm 👍
Your videos have been a great help for a noob like me, so I subbed on Patreon
The quality of your content is just incredible! I wish you all best on your journey to success on TH-cam and beyond!

It even has the slot to attach a red dot sight. But we don't have a rd that fits it 😂

Literally was thinking about this yesterday.
The vortex razor has an illuminated reticle

Could you also make a small video on zeroing? Would like to hear your take.
The moment I heard your accent, I knew I had a Tarkov guru.
Do you have vid on small optics?
I remember 2lew really reccomending the bender 3-20x for sniping
I love to use on the AXMC it's a great scope. Especially with the rework
I never liked the vodoo style scopes because in Cqc you don’t get clear picture when your life is at stakes
The LCAN isn't smooth because it's two fixed power scopes in a trenchcoat- I mean housing.
My vudu looks horrible ingame. How do u still have the old vudu holo
what about valday ps-320? 1-6x
*Cries in Leupold 20x scope*
you should definitely do a tripwire tactics vid would be great watch with your editing style
why so bored
EY don’t believe this dude and leave my bender 8x alone!
no valday?
Valday is no competition anymore. 1 to 6 with no variable zoom and a big blackbox with alot of sway.
Nah thank u
@@try3791 i've been using valday for like 3 years and still top
Razor is illuminated are u blind?
Basically disagree with most of these opinions said as fact.
Why do a thousand of y'all make the same exact video every single wipe and you have the nerve to say you're creating content
