The difference is that our best athletes both men and women choose to play different sports. Whereas in the EU nearly every athlete in those countries are alll playing football from birth. Our women, a lot of them willl run track, play softball, basketball, or soccer. Way more options for them,
Two years on and there's a lot of young talent now cycling through the national team for experience. The team is even faster than before. They are going to need more of that to win this year's world cup.
