- This video guides the viewer through the various steps in Bending pipe using a Hydraulic Bender, Threading, Fitting flanges and cutting Gaskets on a length of 1/2 inch galvanized water pipe. The pipe is installed and pressure tested to 150 Psi. or 10 Bar.
watching this reminds me of my grandfather who worked as a plumber during the great depression. he was a very hard worker but never complained. wish he was were here to show me some of his tricks of the trade....thanks for the video.

Good presentation. I bent a pipe into a rectangle for a gate today. Very first attempt at bending pipe. Did your exact moves. I guess you do physical stuff like this long enough in your life the moves just become logical. Job turned out satisfactory. Makes one feel good about their talents. Your presentation verified, for me, my strategy.
Well explained and excellent editing. Information like this is not common and in this so-called digital age is becoming harder and harder to find.

Great video mate, took me back to my apprenticeship days. You're accent is interesting, one minute it sounds Northern Irish and then New Zealand and then American. What ever it is it works.

Great video, and glad to see skills at work. I personally prefer mandrel bending but its not always worth the cost.

Randy Bingham.. Thats funny you say that. Im 33yr old and do this type of work for my self atleast once a week. As well as use hand held wood work tools. And brazing or welding steel. But i am from Mississippi were we are dirt poor and can not spend extra money for these things so fig out how to make it. I do agree that these things are slowly fading out but not gone.
How do you stop the pipe flattening out
