The third edition of the Motown Mile series - celebrates the 65th anniversary of Motown and how the iconic record company has been a powerful creative force for decades. “Pushin’ Culture Forward,” is intended to show the enduring intergenerational influence of Motown’s cutting-edge artists on music and society. Assembled across eight panels, we provide several vibrant examples showing how various artists working in different music genres have drawn inspiration, samples, covers and interpolations from the Motown Sound.
