I hope you didn't take the video down, Chael! that was great... What you were injecting btw, was exogenous testosterone. Unless you know of something I don't, my man! Also, if you were shooting a short-acting testosterone, which I assume you were to beat the tests, that would be why. Even 300mg of testosterone propionate or even better, testosterone acetate (not to mention something like test suspension which has no ester at all), would have you unable to reach 900ng/dl no doubt especially if it had been a couple days since you took your last shot. I had seen that myself when I was using propionate instead of Sustanon. yeah.... bodybuilding knowledge is always fun ;-) Thanks for your great content as always!
The only time he mentions 400%, as far as I know, is when he talks about test difference after a week of no fap. And even then he said "up to" and "in certain cases". But Uncle Chael somehow made almost an hour of content based on intentionally misquoting and misinterpreting that, just for the drama and views.
Regarding the McGwire stuff I remember a reporter seeing an “androstenedione” bottle and asking McGwire about it which then progressed into more suspicions.

Chael. You are very right but I will say this …. Everyone has different sensitivity to taking Testosterone. Some are super responders and there levels go up very high w little doses and others need high doses to just be at a healthy range. Totally individual specific.
I watched Dr Huberman's podcast on thyroid health. I have hypothyroidism and I know that if I followed his advice, then there is a chance my thyroid health would become worse.
McGuire was taking Androstenedione(Andro) and even though Mark omitted the fact that he was stacking it with PED's...Andro is considered an illegal PED these days.
I was a freshman in college when McGuire said he was taking the GNC sups and was jacked. Chael claiming he was in JR high when that happened is straight up lie as he is 4 years older than me. My point is how are you going to come out and say someone is a liar and prove your point by lying ?
I was very surprised by the original findings about these supplements, thought there was a big chance it was another scam. Good for Chael for talking about it. Who would try and sue someone who's undefeated in the courtroom?

There needs to be clarification here on a few things: dosage and UNITS. Personally, when I was a toddler I had an undescended testicle that was surgically repaired, followed by steroid use in high school. At 29 my T levels were around 189. HOWEVER, depending on the clinic, sometimes this is reported as 18.9 pg/something and other times it’s 189 ng/something like that. First: clomiphene daily 25mg got my T levels up to 700 on the best reading, ~500 average. After a few years, I switched over to Test-Cyp 100mg 1x/wk, my highest reading has been 1150, averaging ~750. So these jumps most definitely can happen with pharmaceuticals, but plants are laughable. Also, people really need to make sure their units are correct.
I have never heard huberman claim anything like this. What I did remembered seen are those thumbnails you’re talking about, and as far as I know THEY’RE NOT from his official channel. They’re just from people who reupload clips with clickbait titles to make a buck out of it. As someone who has been involved in the space recreationally for years, I always thought they made Huberman look silly, and were obviously misleading. What he has to do it’s to strike those videos, even tho it’s not the conventional « right » thing to do, because they’re destroying his reputation
Huberman doesn’t post clips, I’m guessing Chael is referring to shorts from random accounts making click bait videos. Somebody post the link where huberman said this in full context.
Chemist here from SDSU. I've been a scientist in the biotech and pharmaceutical research and manufacturing industry for 17 years. Thought id open the floor for questions if anybody is interested. My opinion on the topic: i side with Chael. Some of Hubermans claims are pretty outrageous and would disregard them unless presented with the actual data of the study so i can see how it was performed. Not all scientific studies are created equal.
Haven’t listened yet, but I know it’s going to be golden. I’ve been waiting for another Chael-Huberman video!!! Excited!!!! Yep, Chael Sonnen is a goddamn genius!!!
As a neuroscientist, I'm actually happy that Chael is calling out Huberman. He doesn't always know how to stay in his lane when discussing research in areas outside of his expertise.
I don't know why, but I find Uncle Chael's beef with Dr. Huberman extremely entertaining.....Please, please inform me. Has Huberman made a rebuttal to Sonnen's accusations. Andrew must respond to this! I follow Huberman and agree with his insights, but this beef must be settled. Uncle Chael is intelligent and charismatic, IMHO. Huberman is intelligent and charismatic. I love both of them. This beef must be settled head to head. Not in a ring but on a one on one. Let's Go!!!!!!!
If you take a polar plunge, or super cold Ice Bath, and then let your body naturally warm back up through doing pull ups and push ups, you can raise your testosterone 100s of points. One man brought his levels up almost 1000 points by doing this. If you go straight from the Polar plunge to a Sauna or hot shower, you don't get the benefits. Something about your testies being cold and your body thinking its dying, then being forced to workout in order to warm your body temp back up naturally causes the body to produce a bunch of test
I got my testosterone tested and it was in the mid 500s, got more sleep, more sun and more gym time in and it was in the 750s 6 months later with a morning test (optimal time of day) not sure what the difference was but it certainly didn’t quadruple so I see where Chael is coming from that Dr. H might be over the top of that’s what he said
I've used endogenous testosterone. 180Mg specifically and had reads over 1200ng/dl. Have bloods to back it up. It is possible...now 4x your bloodwork on what I think huberman is quoting... Turkesterone, I don't think so. I does work but I doubt that. You know studies are cherry picked because you don't know if the individual did the same activity, ate the same food, and got the same amount of sleep. These are all huge factors is clinical studies. Just my 2 cents, but I've used a lot of PEDS and trained a lot of bodybuilding competitors.
I'll say this and believe what you will. I got on trt in my early thirties at a 700 testosterone total. I was on 200mg a week and continued getting totals close to 2000 and sometimes at 2000. Once you hit 2000 my doctor said he cannot prescribe it until I test lower. I would usually take the shot on the same week I did the bloodwork, so it's possible that's why it was so high. Either way, it would of been well over a 1000. Obviously I'm a hyper responder and my levels were to high to be prescribing test anyways. The doctor did cause he's probably crooked and I had symptoms of low t. Eventually I had to get off cause my heart was bothering me. Probably cause of high levels of test. Lol I honestly don't know, but I got off without any pct. Felt like i was dying, found one of hubermans videos on rogan about fadogia and tonkat combination. My heart could only handle the fadogia at the time, and I was only able to take a half pill twice a week. The dosage says to take 2 pills twice daily! After 6 months of doing that my test levels were in the 800s. Nothing feels as good as testosterone. I definitely don't feel like i have those levels. To this day i crave going back on trt but my heart simply cannot handle it. I can barely handle caffeine. I have all my bloodwork to prove what I'm saying. Obviously, i can't prove i took the fadogia. I have receipts from Amazon though. All I'm saying is it's possible to get decent levels on fadogia and tonkat. I know i respond better then others but that's me. Obviously my personal experience doesn't prove everyone will reach the same levels. I've heard one guys experience recently who's on way more herbs and supplements and his test is horrible. Good luck, boys. Nothing beats test, but i know fadogia works for me
@felixkarlsen7977 Just because you define a certain dose in your head as to what defines trt is irrelevant. It seems to be the standard dose in the US. I'm not saying it's the best option, I'd agree it should of been lower. It is the literal definition though. I was prescribed testosterone replacement therapy by a doctor. I understand your point, though. Yes, I reduced it by half but it didn't really matter. I have an issue with the electrical system in my heart and it gets worse when taking test. There's a procedure I'm going to get eventually. It's sad the doctor allowed me to get those high numbers for a long time and didn't even tell me to reduce the dose
Derek had him on his podcast and wants to maintain a good relationship with someone so popular and trusted in the industry. Greg literally uses huberman to make sales on his supps so good luck with them backing you up😂 Im a medical doctor and most things Chael said in this video are correct. However idk why chael is going after huberman so hard.. just let him make his money lol
Easier numbers T baseline = 100 T with x = 102 2% increase, does nothing T with plant = 108 8% baseline increase, but it's 4x more than x. So if Huberman says taking plant will increase your T 4x as much as x that's fine, but he should be talking more in absolutes by saying the plant increases T by 8% or on averages. I think part of this problem is Huberman is working with a lot of people who have low T and some of the changes he's making can get them back into the normal range. Normal T range is 300-1000. A lot of stuff Huberman deals with is people who are below 300 and he's getting them back into the 600-800 range which is a 4x absolute increase. If he's actually doing it or seeing it done without using TRT is another question though. He's not taking a super chad with 1100 and getting them to 4400. Moreover, he doesn't appear to be taking people in the normal range and doubling them. No claims of a 500 to a 1000. I think the misleading part is Huberman is stating these benefits like they apply to the average person, but in reality while they might give a boost it won't be meaningful. This might need to be filed under apples to oranges conversation.

Hope this overview helps explain the important considerations when evaluating research on supplements! Let me know if you have any other questions.
so is huberman likely manipulating results by presenting a lower-than-healthy baseline and being able to make the 4x of test or HGH claim that way?
Amazing comment
Lol, Chael's on Huberman, again 😂
Huberman is such a joke anytime i see him on shorts or a podcast i skip didn't think it'd be Chael calling his bs but glad someone is
Huberman definitely said it. I watched a video with him say 400% lol
The only time he mentions 400%, as far as I know, is when he talks about test difference after a week of no fap. And even then he said "up to" and "in certain cases". But Uncle Chael somehow made almost an hour of content based on intentionally misquoting and misinterpreting that, just for the drama and views.
@@Qminoo You obviously have low test I recommend rewatching the video to get ur testosterone up to average.
@@TheOne-pn8bd nice try buddy but I watch Blahal Mohammed every night before I fall asleep, my test is through the roof
Love it that he calls out two different people at the same time Uberman and Huberman
Those two guys are going to get it
Oh snap later in the video he calls out a third person Zuberman
@@theMightywooosh uberman means superman, he's going to get it the worst.
Chale is absolutely right and I’m sure that makes the liars mad 😂😂😂😂
@brc1 1crb ^ 25:59-26:11 -“abstinence or sex without ejaculation for a week or more will increase testosterone levels up to 400%”
I will always click on an uncle chael video discussing the snake oil salesman
Regarding the McGwire stuff I remember a reporter seeing an “androstenedione” bottle and asking McGwire about it which then progressed into more suspicions.
"It's the shoes!"--Nike
EVERYDAY that I open TH-cam, I'm really going to be looking for the next installment in this feud/ drama. This is the best Chael I've seen in a real minute.
Chael spitting facts
Im enjoying this side quest Chael is on
using logic , chael wrestled in high school wrestled in college …got a sociology degree (worst degree) and got hit in the head for a living for the next 20 years of his life ….andrew huberman grew up with a scientist as a dad went to the university of california got a phd teaches neurobiology at standord and has a lab that pioneered the use of non-invasive methods such as visual stimulation to enhance regeneration of damaged retinal neurons, leading to partial recovery from blindness … who we rocking with ??
ourselves... listen to the words, use your own judgment
Why would we listen to a guy who researches eyeballs’ opinions on the hormone system?
Chael
Chael. You are very right but I will say this …. Everyone has different sensitivity to taking Testosterone. Some are super responders and there levels go up very high w little doses and others need high doses to just be at a healthy range. Totally individual specific.
God i love this so much. More!!! Huberman has to respond
I don't think saying he was in high school and not college was the point of the video.
I was very surprised by the original findings about these supplements, thought there was a big chance it was another scam. Good for Chael for talking about it. Who would try and sue someone who's undefeated in the courtroom?
Ruining Chael's vacation with his kids and hot wife.
Great job Dr. Huberman!
I love you Chael, this is why you're one of the best trash talkers, fighters, and handsomest beautiful men in ufc history. The perfect man. My goat and king. Undefeated and undisputed at life
^The real BMF on the planet and alpha of alpha and sigma of sigma in the ufc
You have my respect for doing this. I've read the comments and sometimes I've disagreed with you on some things. But I respect you and enjoy your content a lot. And these series of videos regarding Dr. Huberman have been great. I wish more people in this world took time to question things, debate and talk in a civilized way. You are the people's champ Uncle Chael!
Huberman just "found himself in a fight that's gonna be a whole lot harder than he thought".....
Another W for the Bad Guy
This is a big W for you imo Chael. I totally think you will come out on the right side of this while a lot of others will look stupid. This guy has been a sheister for a long time.
I don't trust any of these bro scientists in the rogan verse to be honest. They are a run below the philosopher kings called comedians who go on there.
@@thatindiandude4602 This here. I wouldn't go so far as to discount anyone on that or any other podcast; but scientist who frequent the YooToob circuit seem to be grifters first, scientists second.
Why didn’t you respond to coach Greg’s DM??
This channel is just better when Chael has beef
Card carrying Certificate having... all he had to say was "WOOOOOOO!" And I would have sworn it was a Nature boy promo.
00:42 understated point here. Frustrating to see people forget this & make it about themself.
Thanks uncle Chael for letting me vent
I knew Chael was gonna try to drag this story out to get past the 10 minute mark for the algorithm but I wasn't sure how. Chael- "Guys, remember the holidays when you were a kid?" Damn you Chael...
Uncle Chael - 400% is actually 5x when expressed mathematically… so we talking 200 -> 1000
I wish we could get this man a comedy special where we just get these rants in his mobster character
Chael has conditioned us to treat all of his commentary as some kind of surrealist comedy routine, so it's hard to tell when he's serious. I'm like 70% sure this rambling is serious, but I still can't tell for sure.
But he is serious
Chael is a master of being serious when he is right and joking when he is wrong, in this case i think he is right.
respect Chael, teach these people science, Huberman is the tip of the iceberg...
Can you post the video where he says it?
Raised my baseline by 600x just by watching this, screw Huberman this is all I need right here
Huberman doesn’t post clips, I’m guessing Chael is referring to shorts from random accounts making click bait videos.
I like his pro wrestling heel tactics.
Talk about the fighter Jailton Almeida. Probably the future champion of the heavyweight division.
Not if Jon Jones is still around 💀 and he has some serious competition against Sergei the new powerhouse of the division after Francis left and ran
Hubermans on TRT he did meantion it once, it's obvious if you look how he's changed over the years that he's hopped on the gear
Tito tapped
As a neuroscientist, I'm actually happy that Chael is calling out Huberman. He doesn't always know how to stay in his lane when discussing research in areas outside of his expertise.
@brc1 1crb I didn't mention Huberman's specific claims in my comment. Go pick a fight with someone else.
Anyone know what his Sun glasses are?
I figured it was 400% over something like doing jumping jacks
Chael what's the discount code for just for men?
Uncle Chael,
Thank you for protecting us . In chael we trust
Can anyone actually link this quote(s) from Huberman?
Love uncle Chael going hard on Umberman - and the best thing is he is completely correct ❤
You can come back to your Best of 7 series with Doc Huberman after you get back from your family vacation Uncle Chael. 😆🤣
Another win for the BAD GUY
Uncle Chael is taking out his anger at Hulk Hogan on Booberman, and I’m here for it.
Nothing beats test, but i know fadogia works for me
200mg testosterone a week isnt «trt», did you try a lower dose?
Greg & Derek need to speak up - 100 % agree
Chael going after a Stanford neuroscientist would never be not funny 😅😅😅
Just watched a clip of Huberman that said abstinence can increase testosterone by up to 400%
CHAEL HAS THE ULTIMATE RESPECT FOR ALL TIME..
Uncle Chael having a great time on vacation standing in that corner.
With the hot ass wife slamming the door behind him - must’ve just got into an argument 😂
*Funny seeing uncle Chael in my **_AirBnB_** , enjoy your stay.*
Derek had him on his podcast and wants to maintain a good relationship with someone so popular and trusted in the industry. Greg literally uses huberman to make sales on his supps so good luck with them backing you up😂
Im a medical doctor and most things Chael said in this video are correct. However idk why chael is going after huberman so hard.. just let him make his money lol
Thanks for the truth, chael
Chael woke up this morning and chose violence!
Easier numbers
T baseline = 100
T with x = 102
2% increase, does nothing
T with plant = 108
8% baseline increase, but it's 4x more than x.
Dr. Covington should have come by and set the record straight primo!
Chael could you make a piece on Vince Sant? Please
