As far as I know, Amouage always had short spray tops, like on your real one. I say that: I don't know how it was earlier, but nowadays Amouage has some quality issues. In our department store in Tallinn, I see a lot of crooked bottles. For example: Stone in the lid is not perfectly in place. Amouage logo is glued slightly crookedly. On one bottle the magnetic cap looks to the side, and you cannot fix it because of magnet placement defect. (Ofc these were tester bottles). And they always change something in their bottles with almost each batch, things like fonts and engravings. Newer batches doesn't have "name" engraved on the collar anymore and the fonts are the simplest. Smellwise - I have newest batch of "Beach Hut man". In the store, tester bottle (older batch) is longer lasting and feels more "thick", has like more thick soapy powderiness to it - not sure if it's a good thing for this type of fragrance. Newer batches might be less potent, but still smells really good.
Amouage makes changes to their bottles and packaging over time. depending on what year the batch is made. Bottles from one year. Can look different than other years. One example they haven’t always used a magnetic cap. Another example they haven’t always put the name of the front of the fragrance bottle. Also the packaging is totally different than it used to be.

Are your shure that this is really fake? It looks just like an old badge… Older badges had different bottles and different packaging
