How to spot fake Mancera Red Tobacco perfume
The smell of the Mancera Red Tobacco fake perfume is very close to the original one in the first 5 minutes, but the original perfume persists for up to 48 hours on clothes, the fake one quickly loses its perfume intensity.
The original Mancera Red Tobacco perfume costs 180 euros, the price of the fake is between 30 - 80 euros.
The faces of the boxes are identical, practically you can't tell which is fake or real... The bottom of the original box shows a black serial number, compared to the fake one which shows a white serial number... the number serial number on the bottom of the box, must be identical to the serial number on the bottom of the bottle, if this safety element does not exist... then you will surely face a fake Mancera Red Tobacco perfume.
The fire sign, as well as the recycling sign, are different, everything is perfect with the original, compared to the fake one which is not centered and with extra paint... see in the video (bottom of the box).
The black label on the original Mancera Red Tobacco perfume bottle starts from the neck of the bottle, compared to the fake one that shows this label starting from the middle of the bottle...
The original cap weighs more than the fake one... also the face of the cap is different, the fake one is black with a simple M, the original face shows the company's logo on a golden background.
I reviewed all the videos. One by one. I can't believe the amount of fake perfumes. I had to review each perfume I have one by one. There are more than 60 in my collection. @@Kritlon It simply didnt' last! It started out smelling like what "Red Tobacco" is advertised as, but within 15 minutes the fragrance disappeared on my skin!!! Right then I knew I got scammed. I went to Ebay to look up the seller and complain...of course they would not respond to messages. I notified Ebay and their page was taken down and I got my money back eventually.
@@jamericanrebel It was a "JColemanfrags" that had existed for less than 6 months and had nothing but mid and low reviews. I should have taken my time, but I was excited to find a deal on RT. Before I did my homework and looked up the seller...I had purchased it thinking someone else would take the deal out from under me.
I did report the seller and get their page taken down after a month going back and forth with Ebay. I wound up getting my money back...thankfully.

I ordered 2 Manceras from Notino and both bottles had damaged batch code on the bottom, just like on the original in the video. Why is that?

@@rz1927 It happens with Manceras. I have two bottles with this condition, one of them was ordered from Mancera's own website. I suspect this happens when the bottles are not used for the batch they were originaly intended for. Also Mancera tends to be sloppy with batch code information, half of my Mancera fragrance codes are not even in any database and I am perfectly sure they are authentic. Remember manufacturers are not required to give out these infos. Then again batch codes are mainly for in-house reference, not for customers. It's just some unhealthy obsession some frag-heads have with bc's. Anyway, if your fragrance came from Notino or any other big retailer and discounter it has 0% chance of being fake. It's Ebay or shady russian or chinese websites you should be concerned about.
@@rz1927 Lots of the grey market ones have the batch codes covered up. I have one the same that is definitely genuine.

It's your skin, nose blindness or the internet exaggerated performance. A fake fragrance does not smell like a toned down version. It smells really bad or like alcohol, not like a fragrance

Agree. I have a mancera with Magnetic cap. Sprayer looks different ..the Code on the bottom is white...on the bottle you can't recognize the lettering. Cedrat boise version Magnetic cap doesn't last longer than few minutes and doesnt project at all. Multiple times tested. Had this scent for years the old version lasts all day. Don't know if it's refomulated to death but box looks fine, sticker on bottle front is in place. Need a comparison

Actually the old batches, I mean 2017-2018 batch for Red Tobacco has white font color on their box, not gold like the recent one. Hope that helps.
