Great tutorial! Thank you! Question, can I create a type of form where my clients can request certain access to my system and its going to have few dynamic drop down list of what they can select and submit so I can give them access that way? Thanks again!
Hey! I love your videos. I have a question about zapier: why use a webhook, rather than using a regular trigger that says, every time someone fills out a form ..? Thank you!
Hi, thanks for watching! I prefer the webhook trigger because it's immediate. The regular trigger isn't an instant trigger, so it takes a bit of time before the automation will occur.
Very useful video. Got mine working ALMOST as needed. But I have an attachment field in the form with the ability to add multiple images but unfortunately only one image is added to airtable. Is it somehow possible to add multiple images to one field? UPDATE: I guess I solved the problem with Iterator and Array Aggregator and manually adding Arrays into Airtable Create Record Attachment fields.
Great videos as always! :) What do you think about JotForm Tables? I couldn't find a great breakdown about the pros and cons of each. Do you think we should still use AirTable + Jotform or is JOtForm's standalone table + integration with their own "table" software worth it?
Great question - personally I prefer Airtable for my data storage and Jotform for my data capture. I have used Jotform Tables only briefly and it's great, but for more complex schema I'm reluctant to jump in, if only because I already know Airtable won't fail me. Hope this helps!
Hi Gareth, nice video. Have a question: is there a form software that allows a form to pull data from Airtable? For example, a customer clicks a product field on a form and the it's a list for products in an Airtable field? Jotform says they don't inteagrate this way, just are able to send submitted data to Airtable.
HI! Yes, this can be done with JotForm but it requires an additional tool that syncs with Airtable and JotForm - check this video tutorial out: th-cam.com/video/Nux2vRUfAyc/w-d-xo.html
Great video Gareth and i'm wondering if you had a solution for doing something similar. In our use case instead of adding form data to 2 or more tables we would like form data to create 2 or more new records within the one table? (As a note would be great if it could be acheived via Airtable forms, but happy to use Jot if need be)
Hey Paul! This is definitely possible with a JotForm form automation into Airtable. Unfortunately the Airtable forms will only create one record upon submission, but you can certainly achieve your goal with a fancy integration! 💪
No no no. I’m just trying to fill out a simple mileage form on a specific layout . This is horrible. It’s always about employees interacting with customers and never about Managers interacting with employees

Just in time video! I was looking just for the same exact thing! I feel lucky since its been an hour for the video upload :D
Ha! Great timing!
@@GarethPronovost One question though. Where did the time of the transaction come from? the automation pulled the transaction amount only.
@@turkmight I used a special field in Airtable called "Created Time" - it will tell you the date/time that the record is created.
Great video! Very useful
Thank you!
My attachment field in my JotForm is not uploading my single image to my airtable when run through Zapier. Is there a way to fix this?

You can certainly create a form with limited options in a drop-down. I'm not sure about the other part to your question?
