Big farms are finding out its more economical to continue spreading and not travel all the way back to the manure to pick it up. But the disc injectors aren't great for grass. Even smell isn't reduced that much is what they found out in Europe.

I would think this is inline with regenerative agriculture. The worms and ground cover are not being disturbed.

This looks like a German tool bar we have here in Wisconsin. It's a 40 foot toolbar and it does the same thing.

The technology has always been there, & available for the use of a motivated person to set up in this type of operation on a custom scale, while the investment is astronomical the funding support wasn’t there either from the conservation or state level. The cost per acre stated in the video isn’t realistic, cost of equipment stated in the video isn’t realistic. I can say that in 2004 the cost of investment was 1.2 million dollars, for a 3 mile system of drag hose. & estimated cost to farmer was 1.3 cents per gallon. The best results from benefit of chisel shank injection system is on corn ground, with an increased yield as much as 40% in the first year, healthy plant growth through drought times, usually two full ears per plant stock.
