Great show with Hailie. I only started watching the truck series when Hailie moved from Arca to trucks, never was much into truck racing. I would watch Exfinity and Cup but not the trucks, but now I watch the trucks every week because of Hailie. I do think she brings a lot of followers to the sport. I root for her 100% every race and I know a lot of other race fans do also.

Supercross/Motocross has brought TH-cam in with the riders, and it's awesome to see the outside of the sport. And to that point, Jr Motosports is doing several things with social media showing drivers and their opinions. It makes it so much more interesting to see behind the scenes of the athlete.

Thank you all, it was good to just see Hailie cool, calm and collected and her usual smiling ,Laughing and upbeat personality. I too have followed Brian for decades and noticed videos of Hailie from about 15 when she won the off-road cart championship and especially followed every race since 2017 some races I have watched many times but anyway Haiden has been on my target for quite a while since racing the 50 and I am totally impressed with their progress . I hate the haters and the negative basement idiots as well I wish all the best for the Deegan’s and I appreciate you spotlighting one of my favorite all-time family,
    Thank you.

A lot of people are saying that the next big thing in Nascar is 16 year old Jade Avedisian, she presently races in the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series. She made history at the Chili Bowl a few months ago by being the youngest female to make it to the A- Main. Jade is on contract with Toyota in the drive for diversity program and will probably advance to the ARCA West Series next year. Just like with Hailie, Jade will probably get great support from Toyota in the beginning and will probably do very well in ARCA, but the Toyota pipeline is very narrow and has a lot of cracks in it. Hopefully Jade will have a good management staff behind her who can stay two steps ahead of Toyota's broken promises narrative.....

Really good interview Hailie Deegan I think is an amazing driver. When I was able to work (unfortunately I can't anymore) I was in what they called non-traditional jobs for women I learned my grandfather trait before he passed away. I leveled land for 20 years first female in San Joaquin valley to do that. A woman doing something that is mainly done by men is a hard thing to do. Great and fun interview Hailie.
I learned something about your racing.I knew you raced dirt growing up but for some reason I also thought you were racing alot of asphalt and concrete as well.
So maybe I've been alittle to tough on you on your TH-cam channel.
I guess I was expecting you to just get in the trucks and tear it up and even win but I can see it's really where you cut your teeth on paved tracks so you've actually only got that little bit of experience since the first truck series season you ran other than maybe the couple modified runs you did for Toyota for them to take you on board there team.
So my apologies for putting to much pressure on you.
As I've said on your TH-cam channel this season I'm not doing that or saying things to stress you out.
Your still learning things at every track and now with a new team so it's a bit like starting all over.
But you've done good especially this last weekends 12the place finish.
Have fun and enjoy the racing and gain that valuable experience you can use in future seasons and races.
    Good luck Hailie 👍

I see so much of her enthusiasm towards the social media aspect of what she does. She is obviously very good at it and she’s passionate about it. Yes she should go speak her voice to NASCAR regarding that but at the end of the day she’s a driver. I think if she wants to focus her attention to that she should but do only that. I’m just not seeing the same type of aggression she had in the K&N series being transferred into the truck series. She really needs some consistent top ten runs and a few top 5 finishes for me to really believe she has what it takes to be really competitive. She has the team and equipment to compete so let’s see that come into motion.

Joey Logano won an Xfinity Race at age 18. Top 5’s Top 10’s I think are definitely achievable for her. This is year 3 in the Trucks. She has yet to prove anything. Those personalities that she speaks of are what is killing the sport. Fans used to relate to the drivers, they had the ability to buy their "stock" cars at the dealer. Now they are so far away from what they were there is no going back. NASCAR will have to change to keep younger fans engaged or other classes of racing will claim their spot.

first for my haters, do you people know how the award for the most popular driver is determined, anyone can vote as many times as they can sit and click the mouse to vote, nascar doesn't care how many times fans vote, they don't care if pay people to vote, how do you think jr and elliot won the award so many times. it has nothing to do with all the horndog guys thinking with their xxxxx about how good a driver you are, its simply a contest to see how many times you can get people to vote for you. her dad buys her rides, she wrecks anyone she gets close to, the races she won in the minor series, she actually wrecked her team mate on more than one occasion in the last turn going for the checkered flag. the drivers hate her, don't they count, you so called fans are not in danger like they are, and they see up close what she really looks like and sounds like, just like her daddy, just with longer hair.

I really watch the trucks to see how Hailie is doing. She makes it much more interesting. But the only way for you to have people believe in you is to perform. And the longer she goes in the trucks without the finishes, regardless of why, the less people will believe. So based on her current record, in the truck series, I think people believed more when she came and an unknown then they do today. Gotta turn it around.

and all of the drivers would be suspended or sanctioned for showing their "personality." Nascar fans love watching racing. I go to youtube to see replays of things I didn't see well or missed. Social media has a limited use in this sport that should never trump talent. Hailie is an influencer with limited talent. So far she's average. That will not get you to the next level. If that hurts I apologize but most who watch and take part in racing realize that nothing...NOTHING...trumps talent. Go watch the meteoric rise of highly talented drivers. Behind the wheel their talent shines very quickly. Hailie simply is not doing that.

I think it was the start of the Las Vegas truck race this year the TV focused in on a driver's wife holding her baby during the invocation, I couldn't help but think about women in racing and how the media is going portray them as being dangerous to themselves and their unborn children for deciding to pursue a career as a race car driver. They are going imply that all the men are going to be afraid to race and pass women because of the need to coddle, keep them in the kitchen so to speak. But the truth is where the tire meets the pavement it doesn't really matter who behind the wheel of the winner. I think Shirley Muldowney is a prime example of a girl in the driver's seat who became one of the best in her class, no getting around it!
