    Oh, and a friend of mine used to drink Tab. He always had a case of it in his house.

    Thanks for the info...just started doing this yesterday. I saw the comments by the person below...how to automatically generate it...something to try...but automating could put tabs in weak areas.

      You are correct. The automated placement will use your spacing settings. But it starts at each of the items' individual origin. This can put a tab in a very bad place. But, you can simply click and drag the tab to any place you like.

      Thanks for watching. Technically, I'm a LightBurn newbie, too. I only started this laser adventure in late June. Just to have something to do, I started documenting the experience. I thought others just starting out might appreciate watching the learning curve and could possibly learn from my mistakes. I never would have guessed it would go l grow to where I am a fast as it has. I thought maybe in a year or so, but I exceeded my initial goal in less than six months. I am truly thankful . If you haven't seen the collaboration channel yet, you got to subscribe to it. It is nothing but free project files that I would normally sell online.

      Nice tip. When I want to keep the burnt edges, that's exactly what I'll do. But on the maple earrings, turns out I liked the sanded finished edges better. Made them look better, in my opinion. But I will definitely be using this tip on other tab applications. Thanks.

    is there a way to remove all tabs at once?

    • @HoboWithWood
      @HoboWithWood  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am happy to answer your question. And it is a good one. The answer is yes. Yes you can remove all tabs at once. Very Easily. I just ask that if you haven't subscribed to the channel please do so. If you open your cut settings editor, double click a layer to open, the bottom half is dedicated to tabs/bridges. You will see a button to clear tabs. It will clear all tabs on that layer. It you are using tabs on multiple layers; you will have to hit that button on each layer using tabs to clear ALL tabs. Thanks for watching. Hope this helps. Now go subscribe.
