    Could you tell me, is it possible to keep the texture like this for about twenty four hours or longer? In the freezer it probably gets hard and in the fridge gets fluid? I am thinking about the trade. What's your advice? Or in this cace the ice cream machine is necessary?

      This recipe is designed to be eaten relatively soon after it's made for a soft-serve like texture, but you can still store it overnight! It will get quite hard, but if you let it sit out at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes before serving, it will soften up and turn scoop-able. Good luck!

    I didn't have honey, instead I used some thin strawberry rhubarb jelly that didn't set. I put the jelly in the freezer along side the yogurt. It tastes good now, but we will see how it is after being frozen tomorrow.

      Ooooh, I love the idea of incorporating the rhubarb flavor! I hope you liked it!

    Did you use plain or vanilla Greek yogurt? I’m not sure which one to use.

      Hi Samantha, you'll want to use plain, whole-milk Greek yogurt. I hope you enjoy!

    Very nice but do not posses a food processor. And how do you stop crystals from forming.

      This ice cream can also be made in a high-speed blender (like a Vitamix) if you happen to have one! It's designed to be eaten immediately.

    I have made it with same measurements, but it looks watery. I kept it in freezer. do you know how it became watery?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh no! What brand of Greek yogurt did you use? I wonder if the protein content could have been different from the brand I use (Fage).

      Lekshmi G R I don't know for sure. But mine was a bit watery. I used homemade yogurt & my own fresh frozen strawberries. I just assumed it was my strawberries, as they were a bit icy

      Frozen yogurt is always a bit watery compared to ice cream, don't you think? Since it's usually made with a low fat milk, while ice cream is mostly cream. You could try getting a full fat yogurt and adding cream ice cubes for additional creaminess.

      Try it with plain Greek yogurt they are generally thicker add honey and a little lime/lemon juice to cut sweetness down. I did it but trying to work out how to ice crystals forming.😏😏

    Why is mine frozen solid?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      How long did you keep it in the freezer? The frozen yogurt is meant to be eaten within 20 minutes of freezing. However, if it freezes solid you can leave it out at room temperature until it softens. It will still taste great! I hope you like it!

    will it become rock hard if you freeze it overnight?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sasha Nealand yes, it will garden if frozen overnight (it’s designed to be soft serve style), but if you just leave it out at room temp for 10-15 minutes it will soften up!

    Great recipe and demonstration. You could have picked more distracting music, so I'm glad you didn't, this was so obnoxious I turned off the sound.

    Do you guys even review your editing before uploading? Why do people feel as tho they have to have music playing whilst you are talking, and forget to turn the music volume down. So frustrating!

      Hi there, I hear you! This video was uploaded several years ago using TH-cam stock music, before we had the ability to adjust the levels. I'm so glad those days are over! All my new videos are mixed much better.
