Abbie did really well following directions in the car...I wonder how many times a day we say “good listening” LOL
As soon as I saw that big box between the seats, I though you guys put it there to act as a barrier between Abbie and Isaiah! Hope you guys are having a fantastic weekend and that the rain has held off!
It is amazing at how much she really does comprehend when she is talked to. You can tell that she understands at the moment she is asked something or told to do something, but that she may not fully understand why as it may not make sense to her. Having a special needs child myself that is about 5-6 years younger cognitively it gives me hope that my own daughter will progress to this as well. Keep up the great work that you are doing with your daughter & family as well as autism/special needs awareness!!!!

You guys are an inspiration. I watch you every day on my other channel. I started this one with the hope of vlogging some of the experiences with my son. Wow, vlogging/editing is hard! I finally did a "day in the life" and ended up with a half hour video. Mostly of my 4 year old talking about the solar system or me getting the 1 year old out of trouble. I would love it if you had time to take a look, and maybe give me pointers on what else I should of cut out, I would really appreciate it. I also realize a half hour is a long time. We have our autism evaluation date finally June 20th, so hopefully we will have some answers soon.
I'm 16 (7.3kg) pounds lighter today too! I've started May 17th at ~242.5lbs (110kg). Although I'm not on keto or another diet with a name. I'm just balancing my meals better & schedule & sleep more & also started exercising. I really hope I'll reach my healthy weight next year, it would be awesome to not have back pains and well, actually fit in things like chairs or MRI, haha. Did you go to a doctor first? I don't mean it in some rude way, just concern - prolonged obesity (and let's not sugar-coat things, we're obese at this point) can cause some issues and it's a good idea to check things like insulin, hormones, sugar, even bones etc at the beginning to be sure nothing is stopping us from reaching health. (After all, we have only one health, it has to last us for the entire life). I'm personally affected by my eight with - it worsened my heart issues and I'm near infertile cause of it (my biggest hope is to better my feritily with losing weight too be honest, not only getting rid of back pain). What was your motivation for starting the diet? (Sorry If you told this in one of the vlogs, I'm new to your channel). Are you ok with sharing your starting point and your goal? (I've shared my starting point and my goal is 60kg so ~132lbs. It seems good for my height (163cm... e... google says 5.3 feet google it for fractions --- I have no idea how to make them here, haha) and age (22). Wish you best of luck with your diet and motivation for it! PS For last 2 years I thought I'm lactosse intolerant. Turns out I was just eating shity and my diet was SAD (even non-Americans can be on it ;>)

Isn't it crazy what they charge for hotel water! We were charged $6 in Minneapolis and we didn't even drink it, we just put it on top of the fridge so it didn't get drank! Lol

I have an odd question. While searching for a tattoo idea, I thought of getting the puzzle piece. But I read that this is not the correct way to represent autism. What are your thoughts about it?
Officially, the autism community as a whole has rejected the puzzle piece. However, many organizations and agencies associated with autism still use it. It's not letting me paste links or photos in the comments, but google "new autism symbol" or go to the national autistic society and you'll have an idea of some of the newer symbols:-)
A lot of the autism community has rejected the puzzle piece because of the association with Autism Speaks, it's up to you what you want on your body and most people still associate the puzzle piece with autism. I think the rainbow infinity symbol is more inclusive of neurodiversity, not just ASD. If I ever get a tattoo I would get that with the semicolon in the shape of a butterfly to represent both my mental health and neurodiversity, but it's a personal choice.
You do whatever represents it to you. When we see a puzzle piece that’s what we think of so that’s what we do. If the poop emoji is symbolic to you by all means go with that! I look at it for what it is...a symbol representing something. Autism Speaks doesn’t own the puzzle piece and I never think of them when I see it.
I have braces and I just got those rubber bands, I have autism and sensory processing disorder so they really bother me and cause meltdowns and cause me to gag. Does anyone have any tips, please I don’t know how long I have to where these, but I hate them. When my mom takes it out it either gets stuck in my bottom lip or snaps my lip and it freaks me out!😰
If you just got them, they're probably extra tight and uncomfortable. The more you wear them, the less you should notice it. It takes practice to get them in and out without that happening.
