This is the video I've been hoping for. One problem I've had with Japanese Road Sign videos I've found in the past is that either they just show the signs as icons, or they give only the English meaning but not the Japanese pronunciation of the signs. With this one, not only did I learn the signs, but I got a good idea of where they will be placed along the way, and by giving the Japanese pronunciation of the signs, if I am stopped by a police officer and he tells me what I did wrong, I am more likely to understand him. Great job on this. Thank you for the time you put into it.

Love these long journey. The different places you visit, it's like I'm there as a passenger. :D

I am planning emigration next year so this has been very helpful - much appreciated! I have a number of questions if that's okay.
For the pedestrian crossing show at (11:50) , must traffic travelling in both directions yield to pedestrians? (I only noticed 1 white stop line).
At intersections with traffic lights (17:40) , do pedestrians wait for traffic, or must drivers yield to pedestrians?
Also, at ( 22:15), is it not necessary to yield to the woman on the bike at the crossing? If the woman was a pedestrian, would you be required to stop?
(53:15), what is meant by the yellow light? Was this in the process of changing from green to red?

All the cars in Japan become small. Is it part of the government's policy?

It’s not government policy. People’s preference for gas mileage and low cost maintenance for daily use.
